“Great Home Made Ice Cream”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

This establishment has great homemade ice-cream with several original flavors including prickly pear. The Hassayampa Mud ice-cream was particularly good and original. We stopped by ion Sunday afternoon, it was quiet but the decor was contemporary and interesting

“Stop here please”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

Fantastic place recommended by a book on day trips out of Phoenix. The owners were very friendly. Gave us a walking map of the Historic Downtown. The ice cream was over the top. I had the Hassayampa Mud ice cream and chocolate chip. Just so delicious.

“Great place with hometown charm”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

We had first stumbled across this charming ice cream parlor when we had out of town guests visiting us. The atmosphere has all the ambiance of an old ice cream shop. In fact, the building itself is an historical site. The staff is friendly and fun. The sandwiches are not your everyday boring ham and cheese. Each one has a unique twist, such as putting boysenberry carmelized onions on a brat. the ice cream is delicious with a good variety of flavors. Just a single scoop in a bowl is a huge serving. There's live country western music from a man with his guitar. It only adds to the charm. We live about 45 minutes away, but it's a fun place to go on a date. We'll definitely do it again!

“Dairy Delicious!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

The pastrami sandwich was lean and tasty on a very fresh roll. Their service was top notch and the home-made friendliness was refreshing. The complimentary mini-cheese ball was delicious and the pasta salad was good. The ice cream...........was excellent! Sampled quite a few, and to pick one flavor was a true challenge. $41 for two is a little high for lunch, but well worth it.
