My daughter and I stayed at Rancho after a concert. Was fun, rustic and the front desk was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet the next day was wonderful as well. They had almost anything you could want to eat for breakfast!

I went to Rancho de los Caballeros for my sister's bachelorette party and I have to say I was a little nervous because I wanted to show her a good time. When we got there however, the staff was so accommodating and we just had the best time! They had made it so all of our rooms were conjoined which was great because we then had a gigantic living area for the 6 of us. The rooms themselves are already massive, the pillows were spectacular and every room has its own side porch area as well!
I would definitely recommend going here for any type of trip. Family, Friends, Couples, they seemed to accommodate every type of person.
The activities we did were skeet shooting, Jim is amazing, Horseback riding, Caroline is the BEST and a jeep tour. Each one was worth it! I would go back in a heartbeat!

For those who have been on a cruise, it’s like that experience. The room rate includes breakfast, lunch and dinner; soda, beer and wine is extra. Dinner was a three-course meal while breakfast and lunch were a buffet. Breakfast had an omelet and waffle station. Dinner, men are required to wear a jacket or a vest; no shorts. During the high season, best to make reservations for dinner. This is a casual place, but not at dinner. As far as we could tell or find out, there wasn’t a requirement for the women, just the men, but you dress up the men and the rest follows.

Our pricing was a corporate meeting pricing, which also included tax & gratuity.

Room = $299.00
Tax & Gratuity = $65.33
Horseback = $110 for 2 for about 2 hours – Cool to see the Tarantella webs on the ground; incentive to stay on the horse in the desert.
Horseback gratuity = $16.50

We were not aware of the horseback gratuity being included and tipped after the ride.

Couples Massage = $286.00 with an extra tip; 15% is automatically added.

There is a lot to do here other than just the pool, golf, horse riding and the fire pit by the swings and tennis courts.

You can arrange this when you arrive or ahead of time. We arranged the spa prior to arriving.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The main house has a large sitting area/game room.

The “running” of the horses can be seen at 4pm when the horses’ day is done and they are let out to graze, frolic and eat until it is time to come back in the morning.

The season runs from October to mid-May or Mother’s Day.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, chair and a small walk-in closet, roomy bathroom, kitchen with a small refrigerator, fireplace in the living room and small lanai.

When we arrived at Rancho we noticed how beautiful the grounds are. So colorful and well kept. Our check in was a breeze and you are given an actual key, not a card. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our mini-fridge wasn't working and we reported and 20 minutes later a new one arrived. The front desk staff (Spencer) is so friendly, helpful and answered all of our questions. There is a lot to do at the ranch, bird watching, trap shooting, horse riding, a playground, horseshoe, corn hole, nature walks, and a pool. The food was delicious; buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner was a sit down and men had to wear jackets. The food was a perfect portion and delectable. The wait staff was very attentative. There is a saloon and they have an assortment of drinks, beers and wine. Norm taught my son how to handle a rifle safely and my son had a great time trap shooting. We did bird watching with Dick and he was very informative and took us to see a hawk's nest with babies. Caroline, Debbie, Jessie and the rest of the ranchers were awesome at helping us pair up with our horses. There are so many trails to take and our guide was so informative. There are a lot of horses and they are well taken care of. It was exciting to see the horses run to the pasture when they were done for the day. Would definitely recommend this ranch.

I seriously can't say enough about this place. It's like heaven on earth. This is our second year coming with our 13 and 10 year old daughters. We lose ourselves here and find time to reconnect and bond in the beauty. Friendliest staff, gorgeous scenery, fantastic food, beautiful horses and just a magical gem in the dessert. My family has been to many 5 star hotels....but nothing compares to our time at the ranch. We can't wait to come back! ❤
