We didn't have a lot of time, but we wanted to visit something in the Tucson area while we were in town for our friends' wedding. This place offered a really cool 50 minute tour, the stalagmites were really awesome! My daughter even got to watch her geode get broken open right before her eyes. The views are nice and we really enjoyed the tour. The whole thing only took 3 hours, including the commute. We're glad we went.

This is a nice visit for a half day adventure. The cave was interesting, not huge, but a nice tour. It is a comfortable 70 degrees in the cave year-round. There is a good amount of stair climbing and narrower passages in the cave but its fine for kids probably 4 and older. Definitely not something that is handicap accessible though. Friendly workers. They have picnic tables if you bring our own lunch. There is also a ranch area inside the park with horseback riding and a petting zoo. You pay $5/vehicle to enter the park and then purchase additional tickets for the cave tour. Good information on their website for hours and prices. Nice stop.

We came during the week for this tour. We had a 4 year old and a 2 year old, and you have to wait for the next tour, which can make the little ones ansy. I highly recommend you wait till your child is at least 6 or 7 before bringing them. The pathways are narrow and there are places they could fall if you dont keep an eye on them closely. The tour guide was very knowledgable on the history of the cave, and the cave itself was awesome. I have never been to a dry cave, so this was a new experience for me. The tour lasted approximately 45 minutes, and the temperature in the cave actually was warm enough to cause me to sweat in January. I definitely recommend this tour.

My family & I visited the cave on Christmas Eve. It is breathtaking! I have a 17 year old son & 12 year old daughter, they complained all the way there, they didn't want to go. After our tour with our very knowledgable guide, they both agreed that it was fun! Our guide was friendly, knowledgable & very funny! We had a great time! A must if you're looking for a good time with your family!

We took a horseback trail ride around the mountain and it was great! Our guide was as amazing as the views! We had a great time and would definitely do it again.
