“Bunkhouse Dining, needs some improvement”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

This is one of 4 steak restaurants in Tusayan. The tables are lined up end to end, bunkhouse style. It was very busy, but not real noisy.

The steak was excellent, however their sides are lame. Their Cowboy Beans had no flavor, Campbell's Pork and Beans would have been better. The corn was water logged, probably boiled for an hour. The potato was baked in the "old school" 50s/60s style in aluminum foil. Is was the only side that was okay. I would have rated this a 4 with better sides.

“Poor Service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013

The meal was pretty good, but the servers treated you like they couldn't wait for you to leave. We felt very rushed by them. And when they accidently gave my husband a bigger steak than he ordered, they expected us to pay for it even though it was their fault. Not a friendly place.

“No Yippee ei o here!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

Food was really poor and service was short. Never heard of a place you had to stand in a line to pay and then the cashier couldn't make change which forced you to use a credit card. Don't waste you time here even though the building is sort of cute. Eating at Burger King would have been better and cheaper.

“"Ranch type " building.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

We have had a dinner in this restaurant in September 13. The place looks very nice, a bit like old fashion Ranch wooden constructions. I ordered spare ribs and my wife a salad. Both were not bad but could have beed beter.
The waiter was a bit nervous, we had the impression that we should eat as fast as possible and get out to let the sitting to others.
Anyway its not bad and similar to the other restaurants of Tusayan !

“Juicy tasty heaven”

Great traditional décor, waiters wearing cowboy hats and perfect food. The T-bone steaks were generous and perfectly cooked. We went back again the next night!
