I was excited to score a few nights at a great rate on a third party site. I was looking for something close to Grand Canyon airport as we had a tour booked that left early in the morning. This was literally two minute away! Accommodations were clean and updated, staff friendly, and all amenities easily accessible. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub in the evenings. While it was 102 during the day, evenings were a little chilly and an outdoor pool would not have worked. We were scared away from the hotel restaurant by previous reviews, and there were other options within walking distance, but we did pop into the bar a few times and service there was great. Overall, this was a perfect stop for our family.More

Great Hotel!
Stayed two nights while touring AZ and the Grand Canyon. Staff is friendly, the room was clean and stocked with amenities like sewing kit, soaps, lotion, etc. Several restaurants within walking distance, but we had dinner at the hotel- it was magnificent! The atmosphere is great and there's plenty of parking. Misty at the front desk is knowledgable and fun.

Excellent in all Aspects
An Oasis in a very Hot, Dusty and touristy area! They do a nice job of making one feel at home. Staff is great, good parking, good restaurant, good bar, and even nice gift shop. Rooms are large, clean and modern. Best of all right in the middle of all things Grand Canyon. Enjoy and relax!

Good Stay!
We were very glad we stayed there. It easily seemed like the nicest of the hotels in the area. The desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. Housekeeping was a little slow and some of their housekeeping staff appeared cut corners in our room but overall the room was very clean and comfortable. If I ever go back to the Grand Canyon I would stay there again and I view myself as very picky. Some of the Lodges inside the Grand Canyon nowhere near as nice as the Grand. We went in the last week of June and had no problem getting in or out of the Canyon (But the pass first to avoid the line if you drive in) and the shuttle picks you up directly in front of the hotel. Great stay and I would recommend.

Excellent place to stay. Very close to The Grand Canyon. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Everything was very clean and beautiful. We were near places to eat and had a variety of things to do. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Very Nice Hotel close to the Grand Canyon
Just completed a recent stay at the Grand Hotel. Certainly seems to be by far the best place to stay by the Grand Canyon South Rim. In an ideal location in Tusayan with the local restaurants, McDonalds, Starbucks nearby there isn’t a better place to stay so close to the Grand Canyon. The park entrance itself is about a 5-10 minute easy drive. The hotel itself looks to have been upgraded as the common areas and the rooms are pretty nice inside - nothing fancy but they do feel newer. They do have a pool/hot tub inside that do get very overwhelming at times with kids and families. If they added an outdoor pool with good size that would be a nice touch because one of the days of our stays we ended up walking into the pool room and turning right around as it was way too crowded. Thought it was a great stay!
