We had a comfortable, quiet room. The breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of fresh fruits and variety. Staff was very helpful, they even mailed me back my 4 year olds favorite blanket which she left in the room at check out. It was a little pricey but considering the location and surrounding hotels (or lack thereof) reasonable.

Clean modern hotel with many amenities. Even the lowest price room was spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. Hot sausage, eggs, and potatoes. Plenty of fresh fruit, bagels, muffins and more. Ideal location near many restaurants and gift shops. Imax theater and Grand Canyon museum just 2 blocks away. Grand Canyon helicopter tours just 6 blocks away. I hope to come back here soon.

this hotel was worth its price. from start of trip to end, the hotel was exactly what we needed. the hotel is a small "campus" with different room complexes, surrounded by a tennis court and pool area. inside there is an arcade area and a bowling alley. so even though you are at the hotel there are things to do. the two restaurants we tried, the pub downstairs had great food for good prices. the more elegant resaturant (el dorado) was a nicer setting if you are in the mood to dressing up. food was good as well but of course a bit more pricier. considering there are a limited places to go to around the grand canyon, having these places in the hotel was so convenient. the breakfast buffet that was included in the room price was amazing. i thought it was going to be cold cereal and bagels but they had tons of fresh fruits, hot food (pancakes, waffles, egss) and a huge variety of muffins, cereal, breads. definitely worth it to pack your stomach in the morning before the adventure starts . the advantage of this hotel is bc of its proximity to the grand canyon. especially if you are going to try to catch a sunrise there, it is so great to just drive the 2 miles there. there are not that many hotels to choose from within the vicinity of the entrance and with the other bunches of hotel ~40miles away, this is well worth the price. would recommend it highly to everyone!

My wife and I arrived at this hotel after a long day sightseeing at the south rim of the grand canyon. There was a queue at check in and only one member off staff was dealing with the ever growing line. When we finally got to the front desk after a 30 minute wait our confirmed king room booking had been changed by the hotel to a two bedded room. The desk clerk made us feel as if we should be grateful we were being given the wrong room. The room was clean and a reasonable nights sleep followed. Breakfast in the morning was very busy with some items at the self service continental buffet running out and not being replaced.
I think this hotel has some complacent staff. Because they are only one mile from the entrance to the grand canyon national park they do not have to try too hard to fill their hotel and therefore they don't seem to look after their customers as well as they should. They are also quite expensive for the qulaity of the hotel they provide.

Our third stay here and we are always impressed with the on-site facilities - dining, bar, shop and the pool. In our opinion it is well above average for a Best Western.

Receptionist very helpful in assisting with a recalcitrant locked-out internet in the business centre early one morning.

Minor complaint is that reception sticks rigidly to the check-in time - on all 3 occassions we have had to kill time before being allowed in - not exaclty what we need after a long drive.

This is a nice Hotel, we have stay here for two nights arrived in around 7 after a day of driving from LA, we had booked one double room but when we arrive we heard they were fully booked and our room had been changed to one with 2 double beds. The facilites are great, we had a swim in the heated outdoor swimming pool, and then in the jacuzzi and sauna. The room was lovely really clean which was all we really care about, but it had a 32" flat screen, air con, coffee maker etc. i've added some pictures for you to look at. We had booked on a grand canyon tour for the second day, received the wake up call we asked for at 5, and the airport is only 2 mins if that down the road, walking distance if your not lazy. We also ate in the resturant, My boyfriend had the new york strip steak, which he thought was excellent. Only down side was that the wifi connection was down the first night, reception did apologise for this and said they were looking into it, it was back up the second day, so not a big issue.

We found the Best Western Grand Squire Inn to be a great choice for our stay at the Grand Canyon. If you are unable to stay at one of the lodges within the park itself, this is a great alternative as there is a shuttle that takes you straight into the park for free (with purchase of your park ticket which you can buy at reception or at the IMAX down the road). The front desk staff were extremely helpful. Oh, and the continental breakfast was much better than we had expected! We were thinking it would be toast and jam, but many hot foods were provided.
Tusayan is expensive in general as they are definitely cashing in on their proximity to the canyon, but of the lot of hotels in town, this appeared to be the best!
The Grand Canyon is gorgeous! Don't miss seeing it at sunset.
