We arrived late in the evening due to our flight being delayed and received a free upgrade to a nice suite. Was pleasantly surprised. The reception staff were very welcoming.

The hotel is ideally located not to far from the Grand Canyon, has a buffet breakfast included which is a bonus. My advice is to eat a hearty breakfast as dining options in the village square are expensive and limited.

The concierge was really helpful in advising on the best spots to view the canyon on the scenic road drive as the clouds blocked our view of the canyon in the village square. We saw many people in their cars turning back without realising had they drivenfurther on where the wind was
strong enough to blow away the clouds, thney would have seen the spectacular view you usually see on postcards.

Dear Valerie K:

On behalf of the whole team here at the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn thank you for writing and posting this review. We love pleasantly surprising guests.

We appreciate you pointing out our employees who work very hard at being welcoming and helpful. Our concierges especially are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area and what and where is best to see. And yes, the views are amazing as postcards do not do the canyon justice once you’ve been here.

Thank you again and if you are in Arizona again we hope you'll come stay with us again.

Sincerely, Heather

We stayed one night at BW Grand Canyon Squire Inn and was impressed mostly by the amazing complimentary breakfast that was included in the very reasonable nightly price. The hotel was clean but nothing special in terms of decor or aesthetic appeal...your typical roadside hotel. Nothing quaint about it, but we knew this when we booked. I can't give it an excellent rating for this reason. Staff were also just "okay". No big smiles or overly friendly attitudes; but not rude either. It was a decent, clean hotel just for an overnighter, with an excellent breakfast; exactly what we expected it to be.

Dear BMP052276:

We appreciate you taking the time to post this review after your visit to the Grand Canyon.

We were happy to learn you enjoyed breakfast as it is a very well-liked amenity here at the hotel we offer. And we do try to keep our prices affordable as traveling can be expensive for all especially families. I’m sorry you didn’t think our hotel was “quaint” as we try very hard to make all 250 rooms comfortable, clean and reasonable. We are in a remote area of the country and really the “canyon” is the main feature here.

We hope you’lll come back some day and stay with us again.

Sincerely, Heather

We had such a wonderful day at the Grand Canyon. We were anxious to just relax. My husband checked in and we were all pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean our room was. We have two teenagers so it was nice to have such a large bathroom and have the second mirror outside the bathroom. We all had a wonderful nights rest. My husband and I enjoyed coffee in the morning thanks to the personal Keurig in the room. Breakfast was also a delight! Many choices and plenty of seating. I didnt feel as if I was eating with everyone else. We would definately stay here again!!!

We flew into Scottsdale, AZ in the early morning and drove to the hotel prior to going the Grand Canyon. Immediately we were impressed with the cleanliness. The value for your $ can't be beat. We paid $79 for a double queen. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was large and the convenience to the park was great. Definitely go back if we visit again.

Dear Atb27:

Thank you so much for taking the time to write and post this nice review on TripAdvisor.com after you recent stay with us here at the Grand Canyon.

We appreciate knowing you thought the hotel was clean, comfortable and most of all affordable. We know taking a vacation especially in an area where many families visit affordable is key. And after that long drive up to the canyon from Scottsdale it’s nice only to drive a few miles to the park and South Rim.

We are so happy to learn you’ll be back and bring your friends and family.

Sincerely, Heather

I was just looking for a clean, cheap hotel to stay in while I visited the Grand Canyon for the weekend. This hotel ended up being a very nice place to stay. When you check in, the front desk people are very helpful if you ask a question, but they don't tell you about all the kid and grownup friendly things on the property. After dinner and a very cold visit to the Grand Canyon, we came back to our hotel to park and find the bar. We were surprised to find a bar with really good bar food, but a bowling alley and arcade. This ended up being a impromptu fun date for me. The bowling alley was nice and cozy, the arcade was fun as well. There were no children around so it was mostly couples. The bartender at the bar across the hall from the bowling alley was funny and very sweet. I will definitely would stay here again. I stayed at The Grand Hotel on my last visit, but this was by far my favorite hotel. The only complaint I have and it may have been my own fault is that I could never get the heater to go off. I ended up unplugging it in the middle of the night.

Really good hotel: big and clean rooms( we stayed in the double queen bed room), perfect position to go to the Grand Canyon south rim, and great breakfast! It is not the cheapest but you will not be unsatisfied, it is worth the cost.
