Tubac has it's ups and downs. Not many Restaurants opened early. The Tubac Deli & Coffee Company were visited twice by us this year. A very good selection of coffees and breakfast type foods. Many locals hang out here as well as those visiting Tubac. A good place to get your coffee and a light breakfast.

I chose them solely because they were open at 6:30AM. I am very pleased with this choice.
I'm waiting for the rest of my group to be ready to head north, and wanted somewhere to hang out. I'm still here 3 hours later and am very comfortable and feel welcome. It hasn't been crowded but business is picking up now. There are maybe enough seating at tables for 30, and a comfy couch and chairs. They also have a lot of seating outside
I had a very tasty breakfast burrito made on a grill at the counter. The coffee is good and they have a lot of pastries that are very popular. The pies look great! They serve sandwiches and salads, ice cream and smoothies.
Other niceties: free Wi-Fi and an on-premise restroom.

Visited this cute coffee place on a recent visit to Tubac. Liked the feeling of the place - reminded me of the country stores we used to visit in Virginia. We ordered a bakery item and ice cream. Soft serve maching must have been down....ice cream was already very soft by the time it was served. Kids still enjoyed it. We sat out on the cute patio and watched the people and birds. Nice little break from the heat. Liked this place. Was very convenient and would visit again. HOWEVER, the man working behind the counter was a first-class grinch. Not sure he wanted to be there. Hope he wasn't the owner. Asked him if they made their own pies (BEAUTIFUL cherry pie crust) and his reply was a stern, "Of couse, we make ALL of our own pies." My first time here. How was I to know? Was he offended by my question? Cute place, grouchy service. Never said "thank you" as he returned our change. Hope it's better the next time we visit.
