we were here during the Tubac Art Festival which meant things were hopping and the restaurants were busy. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table but the service was good and except for one overcooked hamburger, the food was good. It was a bit pricey, but the Sonoran chicken sandwich with sweet potatoes fries was big enough to share.

Went to have lunch with the wife while in Tubac. Cute place with an Outdoor Patio. Service was beyond atrocious! Very, very slow! Perhaps it was because we didn't order wine! Food was passable , but slightly overpriced. Next time I will eat elsewhere.

First off if you have not been to TUBAC you need to go. It is a fun town with 80 to 100 shops with art, clothes, jewelry, yard art, etc. Lots of fun, you could spend a couple of days there if you could do that much shopping. Now as for Shelby's it was recommended to us by several of the shop owners and their thoughts were right on. It's a small place with just one waitress and bus boy but they get the orders handled quickly and with pep in their step. I had the Fish/ Shrimp and chips and it was fantastic. Really great Fish, Nice Shrimp, and the frys were good too. My wife also loved the Coleslaw, I thought it was too sweet. My wife had the egg plant stack and it was a great presentation and very flavorful. Also had a few of the local beers to round out the evening. Looked like there were lots of regulars there and the waitress treated us all like friends. I will be back, and I will certainly visit Tubac again. Lots of fun.

Looking forward to a nice dinner, we went back to Shelby's . It was a Saturday night, one waitress, and a very unmotivated bus boy who was underage and could not take drink orders. In a nutshell, we left after almost two hours as we could not get our food! We have eaten there before and it was fine, but this was the last time.
