“Southwest paradise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013 via mobile

Tubac has become our favorite destination over the past ten years. We have stayed at the resort (awesome) and always enjoy coming back to play the course. The course is the best conditioned south of Tucson, and green fees are reasonable. Staff is great. The course is truly a great resort course, not real tough, but very enjoyable. Condition is very good.

“An oasis”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

We love this golf course and ambiance. There are 3-9 hole golf courses. If you are a fan of the movie Tin Cup, you recognize the entry way into the area. They also have the "tin cup" hole. The course is in great shape, you have no idea that your in the Sonoran desert if you didn't know any better- it's located in a river valley, it's green and lush, full of cottonwoods and mesquite trees. The staff is friendly and the 19th hole is probably the best we've relaxed at. The view of the island par 3 hole and the cows and calfs in the pasture are fun to watch.

“Desert Oasis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Went to the spa for an afternoon. The changing room is nice if small but it does have a sauna and a steam room which i have noticed at a few places in Tucson don't have. The waiting room is pleasant if small and there is an outdoor hot tub. My treatment was good. A decent massage, relaxing and a friendly therapist.

The outdoor seating at the restaurant is a great place for a sunset drink. They have live music from a soloist playing guitar on weekends. The view of the golf course and the mountains is refreshing. Lush green contrast to desert mountains. The outdoor fireplace is nice if it's not smoking!

“Great Fun!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

An afternoon spent on this lovely golf course can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Although it offers plenty of challenging and unique golf holes, it is not too difficult for a social golfer to enjoy. The scenery includes spectacular mountain views which make even a bad golf shot seem insignificant! Slightly pricey but worth the experience.

“A lovely oasis near Tubac”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

This is an inn, a charming restaurant with delightful touches and vistas. It is well worth a stop, a stroll, a drink, possibly lunch or dinner.
The area is so charming that my friend and I spent a quiet hour sketching and painting there.
