An interesting short stop right off the main road in which you get to explore the Arizona landscape for dinosaur footprints. It's just a few miles west of Tuba City, about an hour east of of the Grand Canyon.

The attraction is free. There is no official entity running this attraction. Locals offer to give a tour for tips. Tours can be as short as 10 minutes to an hour. I'm not sure how accurate some of the information may be, as the tours are not guided by professionals.

Native American jewelry and artisan-work is sold nearby. You can support the local economy and buy some cool jewelry for cheap.

Overall, I think it's really cool to roam the landscape and find dinosaur footprints. Definitely worth a stop.

Too many drunks begging for money. Dinosuar tracks arent owned by anyone so why pay to see them with a guide? Hopi rock art a few miles back which is pretty awesome but need a guide or hopi to help interpet. Not sure why navajo claiming its thiers. The've only been here a short period of time. Any who i wouldnt reccomend this place unless they get rid of the drunks.

It was enchanting to be greeted by a native who said we were in his back yard. He knew all there was to know about the grounds from the paleontologists who have visited there. It was a truly unique experience to see the actual footprints of dinosaurs right there where they left them. There was also a velociraptor claw, loads of fossilized dino feces, and the remains of an egg. It was real life and completely authentic. I felt transported and it really stuck with me. Nothing like trying to piece together the world described in books or even like seeing full skeletons of dinosaurs and replicas. This was the ground they walked on.

We were on our way to the Grand Canyon from Monument Valley. Our guide, Morris, was fantastic. He seemed knowledgeable enough although a few things were a little far fetched. We only had a few bucks on us to tip him, but we didn't feel pressured to pay. It was fascinating!

Almost missed this gem on the side of 160 and we were looking for it! We were the first visitors of the day and there was only one guide there, good for him and us. Our 3 boys ages 10 months -4 years old where at times interested in what they were seeing but enjoyed throwing rocks more! My wife and I found the experience edifying!

Paid $20 for a 30 min tour from a well educated and versed young guide! Don't be afraid!
