We had the best Family Fun Day at Los Elementos Activity Center: we did a very scenic kayak tour on Lake Atitlan, cliff jumping, then we tried archery and finished the afternoon with rock climbing. Our 5-year old little girl participated in all (except cliff jumping) and she had so much fun with our guide Alex. Everything is designed so that all family members have fun and stay safe. For example, for the rock climbing, it was all according to USA security standards. They have very clean restrooms too. The owners and staff were so friendly, and we were offered a delicious home cooked meal for lunch with refreshing lemonade. This place is so peaceful, and at the same time has so many fun activities to offer. We could also have done paddle board and get a massage too. We would go back anytime.

Samuel was our guide for the day. He met us bright and early at the docks with a smile and a friendly welcome. After a boat ride over to San Pedro (from Panajachel), and a tuk tuk ride up to the start point, we started on our hike.

It's a tough climb, but in all honesty it's completely worth it. Samuel was great at setting whatever pace we needed and taking as many breaks as we wanted. He shared lots of interesting facts and we had a great conversation. He even provided lunch at the summit, including fresh banana bread he had bought that morning in San Pedro.

I would absolutely recommend this tour. Not only was it a great experience, but I feel like we made a friend in the process.

We had a great time with Lee and his team over Christmas. We we're picked up by private shuttle in Antigua, made our way to Lake Atitlan via a great stop for breakfast.
We had 5 in our group including my 3 sons aged 18-23.

It was a fabulous day of kayaking, hiking and cliff jumping. Alex our guide was fantastic. He's a local, so he know's all of the great spots to stop and provided us with an amazing day. Highly recommend !

My husband and I had a great experience doing a one day Kayak and Hike trip in Lake Atitlan from Antigua. Lee and Elaine were waiting for us with breakfast before our guide Alex took us out for the day for kayaking, some cliff jumping and a hike.
Alex made the day for us - he was friendly, accommodating and funny. He also gave us some great little insights into Mayan culture as we walked through the villages around the beautiful lake.
I highly recommend these guys.
If you're looking to do the same trip, as a one day activity from Antigua, just be prepared for a really big (but worthwhile) day!

We booked a whole day of fun. Took a shuttle from Antigua and spent the day kayaking, cliff jumping in to the lake, doing archery, and hiked to the rock climbing site. It was a fabulous experience for my family. The guide alex was outstanding, and lee and his wife were very accommodating and wonderful. Such a beautiful place!! Thank you!
