This tour exceeded my expectations! I wasn't sure what to expect but our guide Alex was incredibly informative, kind and funny. The ceremony was much longer and more elaborate than expected and was very powerful and sincere. His guidance made this tour the highlight of our time in Guatemala. It was also great to see some of the initiatives being carried out by the tour company that gave back to the villages. Thank you Alex and Lee!

Explore the best adventure destination at Lake Atitlán. It is a one-of-a-kind experience and a great base camp to explore beautiful Lake Atitlán. You will see, interact, and experience Mayan culture up close and personal. I highly recommend it.

Adventure to Sacred caves and Mayan protection ceremony with the wonderful guide Alex was good, and Alex was great. I was disappointed in the caves as it was hard to feel "Sacred" with an abundance of garbage below the caves. Our Protection ceremony required us to purchase many candles at the market in order to proceed with the ceremony. On the top of the mountain overlooking the lake and volcanoes with Alex performing blessings and prayers it made the trip memorable. Our second trip to the Chichi market with Alex was a great day with lots of laughs and great insight into the Mayan culture. although I had been to the market two years previous I experienced so much more than the average tourist just passing through.

I have had the pleasure of working with Los Elementos Adventure Center for 7 treks over 3 years. The team is professional, reliable, and gives us incredible service. They have taken us kayaking, cliffjumping, hiking (the most technical climb in the area), and climbing. Guides we've worked with are Lee, Sam, and Alex. All have treated our groups with professionalism. Safety and great service - I highly recommend.

We enjoyed a fantastic day exploring the villages of Lake Atitlan courtesy of Los Elementos Adventure Center. Our guide, Alex, was phenomenal with my kids (aged 9, 7 and 22 months) and a joy to spend the day with. My parents, both in their 70s, loved the boat tour, as did my husband and myself. It was my daughter's birthday on the day and Los Elementos presented her with a traditional crown to mark the occasion. This was absolutely a highlight of our holiday.
