Laguna Lodge Eco-Resort and Nature Reserve occupies a class of its own. A rare gem, a secluded hideaway. It has taken eco sustainability and wrapped it in an air of exquisite luxury. Every attention to detail has been considered from vases of exotic flowers that grace every room, handmade chocolates and goodies that await you to an artistic decore that is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Staff at Laguna Lodge Eco- Resort are selected from the local indigenous village for their skill and friendliness. They will ensure that your stay is a five star experience.
Laguna Lodge´s restaurant, which enjoys sweeping lake views, is world class and with the antique candalabras lit at night the ambience is pure romance.
For tranquillity, class and conscious responsibility Laguna Lodge Eco-Resort tops the list. Your stay here will fulfill all your expectations for that perfect holiday.

We loved our stay in Laguna Lodge . We came to stay here for a wondreful weekend and had more than we hoped for. The best hotel we have been in Solola . The views of the lake are amazing. The rooms are perfectly decorated with native and delicate elements from around the world all ecological oriented . The beauty outside captured inside the hotel . This is the perfect place to relax have fun just get away and be pampered . Jeff and Mayah are great hosts and make you feel welcome. All the staff were friendly and really to go out of their way to help you .
We love to go to Panajachel and Solola but we can`t wait to go back to this hotel .

We decided on Laguna Lodge because it sits right on gorgeous Lake Atitlan and because it billed itself as very eco-friendly. But how many times have we all fallen for a pretty website that overpromises? Not this time! Laguna Lodge's lakefront setting is dramatic and beautiful. The lodge itself is VERY green. This is a luxury boutique hotel. It every comfort, excellent cuisine and a high level of service...AND it is made of earth-friendly materials, serves gourmet vegetarian meals (from its own organic garden) that will delight all but the most diehard carnivore, and its gracious owners go out of their way to make certain you enjoy your stay. Although the lodge is accessible only by boat, this isn't a problem. Water taxis around the lake are frequent and inexpensive. We easily explored several Atitlan towns and villages. Laguna's own nature trails behind the lodge are well laid out and give great views of the lake and its volcanoes. You can swim in the lake off the lodge's pier.

On a hill overlooking picturesque Lake Atitlan, lies a unique resort that gives new meaning to the term, "luxury, eco lodge." Laguana Lodge is a stunning property that combines upscale accommodations wtih an emphasis on sustainability. Owners Maya and Jeffro have created a sustainable operation that minimizes water usage, uses solar power and incorporates a farm to table approach to their organic, vegetarian dining practices. Rooms are tastefully appointed with drop dead views of the famed volcano rimmed lake. Walk the lush grounds, take a dip in the outdoor hot tub, hop on a boat and tour the nearby charming lakeside communitiies of San Juan la Laguna and Santiago Atitlan or visit the authentic Mayan market of Chichicastanengo. Or simply sit on your private lanai and let the sound of the water lull you into a state of bliss. Make sure you eat in the lodge's full service lakefront restaurant, Zotz, for a truly memorable dining experience. Laguna Lodge is a special piece of paradise that will soothe your soul.

The rooms and lodge are beautiful. The setting on the lake is very nice, as is the reserve. The vegetarian food was delicious (and we are not vegetarian). One of the best parts of our stay was meeting Mayah and Jeff (the owners).
