“Diving”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

We went on a 2 dive trip and were lucky enough to be with the 3 of us and a dive master. We saw quite a few white tip reef sharks, thorn of crowns, moorish idols, spotted eagle ray and a fair number of various typical tropical fish. What was best was seeing the pod of 50 pseudo killer whales that played with our boat for about half an hour between dives. Diving was better in Bonaire and on the Great Barrier Reef, but then I guess we are lucky enough to be spoiled about diving. The dive master, and equipment were all top notch. the visibility is quite good. We had an enjoyable time

“Very Nice but not as great”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

We went on a snorkeling trip here, departing from Drake Bay. Our family (with 12 yo daughter) enjoyed the day. The boat ride was bumpy and my husband got a little sick so he did only one dive instead of two. We saw sharks and sting rays, and many other fish, although I would say that the varieties were not as many as some other tropical places we have been. I guessed that is just nature. The group which went the next day did see many turtles though.

The second dive was later in the day (before noon) and the water was a bit cloudy from the current, so we didn't see much. There were jellyfish around and we did get some stingings (not from the actual contact with the animals but I guess they released their "stings"). This was not bad as the stinging feeling was very short lived.

We went to have lunch on a beach nearby. The best part was hiking back to Drake, which took about 2.5 hours on a beautiful trail along the beach (mostly shady with some part passing on the beach).

“Was good.”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

It was good. That's all I can say. Not spectacular. Visibility was said to be really good at 30 feet. 30 feet is not good visibility. Scuba was ok.

“Different and worth it”
Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

We booked a tour to Isla del Cano with Rancho Corcovado. The place was very nice, we were able to see dolphins and whales. The captain and owner of the boat Javier was very nice and friendly but the tour guide Edwin was not all. He rushed us to the point that we couldn't enjoy the snorkeling tour and one of my friends almost drown because she was exhausted. He was kinda rude and you could tell he didn't enjoy his job. I would recommend to book this trip with this company but making sure the tour guide is not Edwin.
