We had a room that took a long climb to get to but worth the climb. We would sit outside our room and bird watch. Wonderful! We also loved being able to walk out of the restaurant and into the water. Food was good except the meats were overdone but there was so much of everything else, it did not matter. Rooms clean but simple. Manager very helpful to organize activities. Well worth the money.

Room Tip: Certainly worth the climb to get the rooms furthest up the hill.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable like all the infrastrucutres of the hotel. The food is simple but really delicious.
The managers are very nice and helpfull to organise activities. The location directly on the beach is also great!

Rancho Corcovado feels like home: friendly warm welcome. in the middle of one of the most beautyfull area;s in costar rica; Very very beautyfull garden where the parrots will fly in the trees in front of your window. Do not stay for one day, enjoy the cooking of anna sandra and esther for at least two days. wilmar and robin july 2011

Rancho Corcovado is directly on the beach of Bahia Drake. If you have 3 kids you will love watching them playing on the beach from your hammock, relaxing after a beautiful but tiring excursion to Corcovado National Park or to Isla Cano.

We had a family room with private bathroom and air conditioning. Clearly rooms are basic, but this is more than enough as you go down there to Osa peninsula to enjoy nature and not to stay in the hotel. The room was also very clean. The restaurant is clean and food was always very good. Staff is very professional and nice.

Excursions were included in our package and organized by the hotel. We went to Isla Cano and Corcovado: both were excellent, with professional guides.

A special word for the owner and his family: it was a great pleasure for us to meet them and we enjoyed spending our evenings discussing with them.

If we go back to Costa Rica, we will definitely go back to Bahia Drake and we will surely go to Rancho Corcovado..

Beautiful area of CR!1 Our cottage overlooked the Pacific and was very clean and nice. Bath in room... Food was great - this place is family run and the host is very attentive - Rancho Corcovado is a good alternative to the high end resorts just down the beach... The food is spendid. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again
