“Felt Like Home”

Casita Corcovado is a small B&B run by Jamie and Craig. They work hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible even before you get there. Jamie was able to give me great advice on tours and other places to visit in Cost Rica and once we got there made us feel right at home. This isn't a huge resort, nor a home in the States with giant rooms but the rooms are comfortable and clean. They have created their own tour (mixto) where you are able to choose what to do on the water and it was great to fish, snorkel, hang out on the beach and head up the river all on the same tour (no one else gives you that freedom). Overall we loved our experience and would not hesitate to head back there.

Thank you for your response. We are happy that you chose Casita Corcovado and Drake Bay for your honeymoon destination. We enjoyed getting to know you over the days you were our guests. Also, we are glad you enjoyed the mixto tour. We enjoy it everytime as much as you did! Please keep in touch. Pura Vida

The rooms are nice and clean. But the owners talked a lot of nonsense and didn't remember what they have already told us, or done with us (like the village tour).

Room Tip: there are only 3 rooms and they are pretty much the same

We stayed at Casita Corcovado for 4 days the december of 2011. The functional home of Jamie and Craig(will refer to them as JC from here) sitting right by the beach was everything we had hoped for on our vacation.JC welcomed us not just into their home but also into their life. In the time we spent there we really did feel like we were family. we had the pleasure of spending Christmas eve and Christmas day in Casita Corcovado which meant we got to enjoy JC's wonderful Christmas dinner(they used to be in the catering business so they really know their food).
The home is located within easy walking access to the beach, the market and restaurants and also the loal tours and trips.Jamie's aesthetic taste is seen in the little details of the home. The backyard hammock that looks on the garden rich with fruit bearing trees and birds was my favourite place in the home. The plenty stories JC share about their life and friends in Drake Bay really helps one to know the place and also feel almost immediately one with the town.
Its the little things that really make a difference, when we lost our sun screen JC immediately offered theirs, let us have their cooler for us to carry cool beers on our kayak trip and I would make chai for all of us in the evening.
Our stay here was the most memorable time we have ever had travelling. Stay here and you will not only have a great time but you will also make new friends for a lifetime.

We stayed at Casita Corcovado for four nights. Visiting Drake Bay & staying at Casita was the best thing we did in Costa Rica. The B&B place is located in a quaint small town of 400 people called Agujitas. The house & rooms are very clean and comfortable. The best part of staying at this place are the hosts (Jamie & Craig). Wonderful couple who will help with you all your travel & holiday needs (very knowledgeable & resourceful) while telling you delightful stories about the house/village/forest/animals. The place is centrally located to all the activities around Drake Bay (kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, beach, etc).

Casita Corcovado is right in the heart of life in the gorgeous Drake Bay. The hosts Jamie and Craig were from within the first minute of our arrival completely dedicated to making our stay as wonderful as possible. Even though we had rather a lot of rain during our visit and were limited in which activities we could partake in, we felt totally comfortable to stay at the Casita and read or chat with our hosts! Their stories of life in Costa Rica are fascinating....

As far as food, rooms and all other amenities are concerned we can't recommend Casita Corcovado enough. We were such fans after 3 nights that we extended our stay by 5 more! Pura Vida!

Casita Corcovada is an excellent choice if you are traveling to Drake Bay. It is right on the beach, so you can have yourself a relaxing time. Yet it is just a short walk from the jungle where you can walk through and see many animals! Jamie and Craig were extremely accomodating. They made sure we had breakfast ready when we woke up, and a fun day planned. They answered all our questions about the fun activities and tours to do, took us fishing and whale watching! Most of all, they made me feel comfortable, being my first trip out of the country! I would highly reccommend this cozy bed and breakfast to anyone!

Stayed 4 nights at Jamie and Craig's place in August 2011. Travelled with 6 people and what can we say. First off, Jamie and Craig were extemely helpfull with the house, the town and taken care of ANY questions we had.(and we always had them, lol.) They will take care of all your tours for you, do NOT book anything before you go they will help you with that. The House has everthing you need, A/C, Kitchen, and HAMMOCKS! Thanks again Jamie and Craig.

Thank you for your kind response. It was a real pleasure having you all. And, what a great whale watching excursion! The agujas fish Was tasty. As we have been in the pueblo for years, we do have a great group of tour companies that we work with. Pricing, attitude, safety, and enjoyment are our goal in our tours. Glad you made it home safely.
