I wish we had stayed here longer! Our room was a cabana with a porch with a fridge and sink. I appreciated that each cabana door is oriented away from the other cabanas and has views of nature. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom really large and modern. There is a tv and free wifi. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging tours and transportation. The restaurant and bar staff members were also friendly and the food was excellent - especially the tomato soup and seafood soup. The pool is very large and clean. The walk to town takes about 10 - 12 minutes along a road next to a river. There isn't too much traffic and we felt safe.

We stayed here for about 6 days. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Jose is exceptionally cheerful and helpful. Everyone was very attentive. The rooms were clean, the pool was fun! There is an amazing Maracuya (passion fruit) mouse and coffee flan that we loved!!

We enjoyed our stay at this fabulous hotel! All though we had a small accident (stitches on the head of our son), the owner (Victor) offered his fantastic support by driving us in his car to the hospital and doing the full translation. Great help!!!!

Nice villa situated in beautiful garden. Prive seating outside under roof with fan. Great pool. Good food at restaurant. Outdoor gym, tennisfield. Near river. Was there for one night (ongoing trip), but could have multiple nights

This hotel was a stopover for us and had some ups and downs. Things that could have been better start with the lackluster staff at the reception. We were misinformed about a few things (Check in was at 3pm, we were not informed of a place to leave our bags. I asked for a pedicure, they said they would arrange it and let me know when it was possible. After three hours I inform again and it turns out -in a bizarre twist of events - they don't even have it at the hotel.) When we asked for a cart for our luggage we were sent in a general direction of where we might find a cart. The general vibe was so un-Costa Rican that it was very noticeable to us. For the first time this holiday I felt like the staff could care less if we enjoyed our stay. This doesn't apply to everyone, but definitely to several people who seems to enjoy their phones more than their jobs.

The rooms are standard motel standard. Quite small, bad/grainy tv-signal, wifi was non-existent in the room and slow in common areas. Beds were good, aircon a bit outdated, but worked well. Bathroom was clean, large and well-equipped. The rooms were quiet, no trouble with noises from other rooms. The grounds are beautiful with a well-maintained garden and plenty of wildlife. There is some fitness-equipment available outside.

The food in the restaurant is not very good. The taste is so-so, the menu is nothing special. A little overpriced for what you get. The pool is really nice, there is ample parking space, but I think there are better places to stay in the same price-range.

Thank you so much for your comment.
Dear S1lv3r, The check at the hotel is at 3:00 pm, Housekeeping need to clean the rooms once the previous clients leave the rooms. This previous days we have big groups of clients and they had time to do the Check Out at 12:00 pm. Our staff try their best cleaning the rooms before the Check In time to avoid our clients to wait for their rooms. However sometimes we require more time. If the clients need to wait for their room our Reception staff always tell them to wait in the swimming pool or restaurant area, if the person on shift forgot to give you more specific instructions we apologize for that, we always try to give directions or recommendations to our guests, and we do have an office where you can safe your luggage while you wait for your room. About the pedicure its works with a previous reservation, we called the girl and unfortunately in this case she was full, so she didn´t have space. Is a shame that our room did not meet your expectations. But for us was a pleasure to had you here.
