I went to La Parcela on a whim while in the area. I was happy with the food, and the drinks are top-notch (try the Guaro sour) and of course the view is spectacular. But the absolute best part is the monkeys who visit every day. While paying the bill, I looked up to see a capuchin in the corner checking himself out in the mirror. Next thing I knew, one of the employees went inside the kitchen to grab a handful of bananas. They have a system of bamboo 'walkways' rigged up on one side of the restaurant (away from tables and safer for them) so that the monkeys can come and enjoy a banana or two. I was deeply impressed with how the staff treated these monkeys with such love. I was also impressed with how this monkey encounter is unadvertised and unexploited. This place is a GEM. You have to go.
