After reading such wonderful things about Jolly Roger on Trip Advisor, my husband and I had to check it out for ourselves. And man, are we glad we did.

First of all, the service at this place is incredible. It's packed and it has a dive bar kind of atmosphere with Steelers posters and flags EVERYWHERE. We take it they're football fans. But the place was absolutely packed, yet the guys working there still paid a ton of attention to us and made sure we were having a great time. It seems like everyone who works there genuinely loves doing what they're doing. Even kitchen staff waved when you walked by. They've created an incredible atmosphere at Jolly Roger, and they should be very proud.

But, most importantly, the wings. The wings were, hands down, the best we've ever had in our lives. We had two different types, Sriracha Lime and Spicy Brown Sugar and both of them were absolutely, without a doubt, best wings on this earth. They also make a mean margarita. We ordered two rounds, and they gave us the second one on the house, because they're amazing people.

Jolly Roger rocks, and if you're in Uvita, Dominical, or anywhere in that general area, you HAVE to stop by. I mean, best wings in the world... How could you pass that up?

Thanks Storm and everyone else at Jolly Roger for giving us one of the best foodgasms we've ever had!

After reading the other wonderful reviews about the Jolly Roger my friends and I couldn't resist eating at least one meal here during our 6 day trip to Dominical. We went one night and then went back again! The food is delicious and all made fresh to order. The prices are very reasonable and the view is spectacular! Make sure you have 4 wheel drive to make it up the long gravel hill, but it's definitely worth it. Our group tried wings and burgers-both excellent choices!

Best wings I've had...Ever!!! The flavors of these wings are legit, and made fresh with each batch. The bartender was very welcoming, and with the amazing views you will not be disappointed.

We tried this restaurant a few times on our vacation in CR as it was very near the house we rented. The ride up to it is not for the faint of heart, but it's worth the challenge. Great wings and burgers--we tried several varieties of each. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. A win all around.

For better and worse, the Jolly Roger is a little slice of the U.S. nestled on a Costa Rican hillside. A limited menu built on chicken wings, hamburgers and tortilla pizzas, what they serve is good but a bit pricey. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating, if a little overwhelmed. We got a great view of a thunderstorm in the distance, but otherwise it was sort of like eating at my neighborhood sports bar minus the walls. So if you get to missing the U.S. on your trip, be sure to stop by. If you're in Costa Rica to experience Costa Rica, you may want to skip it.
