The on line listings rated this as a four star hotel, which it definitely is not and I think that they do it an injustice by rating it as such. It is, however, good value for the money and the rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were very pleasant all the way around. The desk clerks and the breakfast room staff were all very upbeat and accommodating. The scenic views from rooms were breathtaking. The amenitites were definitely three star, at best, but again well worth the price. I would definitely stay there again and do reccommend it to others.

This was our first and most likely last stay at this hotel. It was clean and the bed was comfortable but it is very old and badly needs to be updated. Also found it difficult to get to second floor room because there is no elevator. Breakfast was mediocre.

We traveled to Tombstone and chose the Landmark Lookout Lodge because it was a great price and it was available for our chosen travel dates. We went in early September and it was a lovely experience. Check-in was easy and super fast and the two people at the registration desk were very friendly. Our room was a good mix of modern style with old-fashioned kitsch (which is partly why we chose to visit an old-western town like Tombstone anyway). The view was awesome, it overlooked the hills in the distance and our room opened right out into the vista area, complete with trees, firepits and benches to relax and enjoy the outdoors during our stay. We saw other guests doing the same and it was such a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere.

Breakfast was included during our stay and that was our favorite part! Normally, a free hotel breakfast includes bagels and coffee and that's it. Not here! We had our choice of eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit--a hearty and delicious breakfast that was a very pleasant surprise. It was good enough to get these typically late sleepers out of bed early!

The only thing that kept it from being a five star review was the lack of internet. The staff told us that normally, they have wi-fi but it was not currently working. Because we were so out in the boonies, it was difficult to get a data signal to our cell phones, so that was our only small complaint. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling near Tombstone, AZ.

We stayed here one night whilst visiting Tombstone. We didn't have a reservation as we were on a road trip and didn't know where we would be when, but had no trouble getting a room at a reasonable rate, including cooked to order breakfast. The grounds were nicely set out with benches for resting and lots of birds frequented the feeders outside the lobby,
The rooms were clean and although beetles were about outside (after all it is a desert area) there were none in the room.
We walked up the road to the Boothill Cemetery in the morning before leaving to tour Tombstone.

Checked in for 1 night. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Old hotel but the breakfast (included) makes up for it. Choice of 5 items per breakfast. Beverage included as an item. Choices of pancakes (huge) eggs, french toast, buscuits and gravy, sausages and bacon. The firepits in the evening were very nice. Wish we had brought along marshmellows to roast. The pool is small and in the back of the hotel. The view from our room was great.
