What a great little spot! The owners/managers are ultra friendly, the rooms are spotless, the pool is like heaven. Located within walking distance of everything! Little touches blew me away. When I left our laundry in the dryer (thinking that it was open 24 hrs); I came back to our room to find it had been folded and left in a quaint lawn chair placed outside our room. No Frills, so don't expect room service here in Tombstone, but do look forward to fresh coffee, orange juice and donuts in the morning. As nice as they come. Highly recommend this one of a kind "no place like home" Inn. They have a nice pool and an above ground hot tub that is dubbed "The Love Shack". We will DEFINITELY be back!

We had car troubles in a little town near Tomestone. We had to leave our vehicle for a week for a new engine and decided we needed to make the best of it. We rented a car and decided to go to the famous Tomestone. We checked into the Trailriders Inn where we were met with the utmost hospitality. Paul and Lauren the owners were great . They made us feel right at home. The motel is rustic so clean, quaint and full of atmosphere. It was quiet and relaxing and under our circumstances was just what we needed Paul had the coffee on early in the morning and Lauren was there in the evenings to BS with. We had the best time and are looking forward to returning. What could have been a real bummer on our trip turned out to be the highlight. Come and just relax at the Trailriders Inn, it's worth the trip!!!!! Paul and Lauren will take good care of you!

We stayed at The Trail Riders Inn for Father's Day weekend 2010. From the time I called to make the reservation, I was greeted warmly over the telephone. We arrived on Friday afternoon and were shown to a room next to the office. Two queen brass beds with beautifully soft comforters and matching sheets(!)-no institutional white sheets here. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, a cute little bathroom with relaxing waterfall showerhead, and nice thick towels in coordinating colors. The room was neatly cleaned and the beds were comfortable. We all got a restful night's sleep.
After a delicious continental breakfast and coffee the next morning,we left for a morning of sightseeing. The owner was outside, and he even took a picture of the four of us so we could all be in it! When we returned to our room after lunch, the room was freshly cleaned and the sheets were changed. You could smell how fresh the room was, and how thoroughly it was cleaned. Our kids got to use the pool Saturday afternoon, and I was duly impressed. The manager was out there cleaning the pool early Saturday morning, and when we used it, there was no chlorine or strong smells you usually get from pools. The waterfall feature in the pool was equally gorgeous.
Each morning outside the office at 6am there was fresh urn of coffee, glazed donuts, creamer, sugar, equal, orange juice, and milk. There was also a dome platter with granola bars, oatmeal cream pies, and donut gems. We were very impressed with the coffee, and liked that we could give the girls some milk in the morning.
When we checked out, we were asked if everything was good with the room, and were wished a safe trip home. I challenge anyone to find a hotel with such accomodating and thoughtful hosts. Their personality shone in the room, and we will definitely stay there again.

Had a good time, our room was clean. The british lady who showed us the room was the best. So helpful. My husband and I were impressed with her. Close enough to walk to downtown area. The morning breakfast was the pits. I said something to the morning clerk an older british man. He was a grouch and could of cared less. All he wanted was money.

You get what you pay for. This is an old Motel right from the 50's. The rooms are small, furniture old and outdated. It's run by a nice British couple who appear to have been doing this so long, things are beginning to slip. The rooms were not cleaned throughout, behind the bed dust bunnies, the chair(1) was a wooden one broken, the outside area was attempted to be cleaned but cigerette butts all over and trash cans not emptied in the 2 days we stayed there. The Continental breakfast consisted of stale circle K glazed donuts or muffins and coffee, the food almost not edible. Many of the outside decrative lights were burned out and the place just felt tired! This could be a quaint place with many improvements but it appears the owners are trying to sell it and are not upgrading at all. Stay away if you want comfort.
