During the Christmas parade we met the outgoing mayor and his wife there for drinks and we were not disappointed. Skip the wine and have a good ole shot of whisky, or what every your favorite poison is and enjoy either watching the movie Tombstone on a large flatscreen TV or dance to the live entertainment. The group that played last night was great!

During the day, once your headache has cleared, visit the Shaft at the saloon and see why swampy lived and dug his way into the main silver mine to get his own tips......if you know what I mean.

Loved the atmosphere, food, and especially the service! Gotta have the Overholt Whiskey, Doc Hollidays favorite.

We stayed in Tombstone in august 2011 and had a nice dinner at this saloon. All the characters walking the streets during the day like Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday etc visited the saloon. We were very "lucky" to enjoy a karaoke night. All the locals and Doc showed us there "talents". Doc looked like an exiled Broadway artist and thought he could still work the ladies. We could not stop laughing.

I walked in and was stunned by the magnificence of the saloon. Absolutely beautiful. Like going back to the 1800's. They had a marvelous live singer performing on guitar to Bob Seger's "Shame on the Moon" which was dazzling. One of several highlights to the trip. The food was excellent, good old fashioned western fare. The place is a museum and a testament to the Old West. Downstairs is the gift shop with many wonderful items to purchase. Big Nose Kate must be smiling down and feel very proud that her saloon is kept in such a wonderful way.

We enjoyed the Wild West atmosphere but the food was average at best--burgers dry, pulled pork dry and sparse. The music is fun but definitely made us pretty uncomfortable having kids with us!
