This restaurant specializes in Mexican and Italian cuisine. We opted for Mexican choices and the food was delicious. The decor was pleasant and our server was wonderful. We didn't have to wait at all. The service was exceptional. We highly recommend a stop at this restaurant and hope to visit it again.

“Delicious food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2012

We stopped by here and ate dinner one night while in Tombstone. The food was pretty good. The salsa was freshly made and tasty. The ice tea was delicious and our server was very nice. I would come back again!

“Best fajitas ever :-)”

We had dinner here and we both had the fajitas. The best chicken fajitas ever. It was great.
And they have great margaritas as well.

“Go for Juan!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2012

I'd heard that Cafe Margarita was terrible. The "reviews" I'd been told were terrible. It was quite nice. My mother is still talking about how good the chicken parm was.

The most important part, though, was that on Friday and Saturday evenings, Juan de Granada is there. He is one of the most gifted guitar players you will ever encounter. I've been following him, going to the various places he has appeared for nearly 17 years. Cafe Margarita is the nicest.

“Bad Night”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2012

Maybe they were having a bad night when we visited. First off, the chips were alright but the salsa tasted like bad marinara sauce. I've had a similar tasting sauce in Kansas so maybe that's how some people make it. My husband ordered chicken parmigiana, and said his dish wasn't bad. The waitress had an attitude (with someone else it seemed) but barely slowed down when she walked passed us and slid the plates onto the table. I had ordered a enchilada and taco. The taco meat was alright, but was haphazardly topped with lettuce and a little cheese. The enchilada was extremely bland and covered with a bed of shredded lettuce. The refried beans were gross, for lack of a better word, and were a pale color. The roasted corn wasn't much better. The corn itself was OK but the roasted peppers mixed in with it had a funny, bitter taste. The waitress collected our money but then walked to a table in the back and threw herself into a chair, like she was five years old and throwing a fit. Have to say it was an extremely disappointing meal, and atmosphere, and I will not be returning.
