“small museum”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Small-free museum.
Display of old printing presses.
Have several old papers reprinted for sale.
Really only there to pick up free paper with ok coral entrance ticket.
But found the display of interest.

“Oldest Paper West of the Pecos”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

This was a nice side trip; you can purchase reprints of the actual paper written the day after the gunfight. A must-have for every cowboy, and a great read. The ads tell you alot.

“Interesting and free (mostly).....”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

If you buy tickets to the OK Corral gunfight, you can get a coupon for a free copy of the epitaph newspaper. It's fun and the museum at the epitaph is free to go through. Really interesting to hear about the history of the paper!

“Must get a copy”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

We've toured the Epitaph before and enjoyed the history surrounding it's beginning and modern day publishing. With tickets to the gunfight at the OK Corral, you get an actual free copy of the details before and after the gunfight.

“Really interesting historical site without a lot of hype.”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

As with any location that gets its claim to fame from legends, there is going to be a certain amount of “fluff” that designed to draw the visitor into the story of the legend. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it’s what makes us get in our cars and drive to places like this. The cool thing about the Epitaph is that it didn’t need to do any of that. Sure, they are the paper that printed the account of the “Shootout at the OK Corral” and you can even get a reprint of the story while you are there. However, even if you moved the building and its contents a thousand miles away, it would still be an interesting stop. They have lots of information on the types of machinery and presses used in the industry not only back in 1881 when Wyatt was shooting up the town, but there are presses from other eras as well. Timepieces, telegraphs and other displays make it very much worth time to stop in if you’re in Tombstone.
