Description: The Crystal Palace Saloon and Restaurant is located on the corner of Fifth and Allen Streets in historic downtown Tombstone, Arizona. Delve into a delectible assortment of Southwest cuisine. The mouthwatering ribs are world famous and your tastebuds will scream with delight when you bite into one of the New York Strip steaks. The ingenious array of cleaverly named certified angus beef burgers will leave you wanting. The best food in the west hands down!

We asked the hostess at the Visitor Center and several of the characters who are part of the street show in Tombstone what their personal favorite place for lunch would be, and several mentioned the Crystal Palace. The ambience is right out of the old west with a long and beautiful carved mahogany or cherrywood bar which appeared to be original. Several characters came in while we were eating and bellied up to the bar. Our male server was dressed in period costume as was a female server in the back of the room in a short 1980s barmaid outfit with fish net stockings. However, she had straight long blond hair (ala surfer look) and wore tennis shoes -- not exactly in keeping with the ambience. The food was merely OK -- small order of nachos which were cold and bland except for the jalapeños, and a grilled chicken sandwich -- but was reasonably priced. My margarita was excellent, though, and service was friendly and efficient. Total bill for one margarita, one draft beer, half-order of nachos, and grilled chicken sandwich, including tip, was $32.29.

A must see location in the American Old West. Good food served by a fun and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed talking with the family that owns the place and learned much. Looking forward to spending much more time in Tombstone in the future.

We had lunch at the Crystal Palace when we visited a couple of weeks ago. Great food. Everyone who worked there was dressed like the 1800s and they took pictures with my wife and me. We had a good time. I think it's one of the original places from the Old West era, looks just like it did in the old pictures they had on the walls.

Nothing special about the food. Staff are nice and costumed. Limited menu, what you would expect in a bar.

The best food in town. We had lunch and had historic company. The players come in and out of the bar. The waitresses are dressed saloon outfits. Reasonable prices! Try the Nachos they are to die!!!
