we went for the live re-inactment and i have got to say i think that was the best part of our day. i even turned my camera to the old sepia selection and taking pictures of them shooting and the smoke from the guns, well... it just looked like i was there a 100 years ago. they all did a very good job and made you think about what it must have been like back then or if that's the way it really happened..... very well done

You must see the live re-enactment of the gunfight this was the best part of our day! The acting was very good particularly Doc Holliday and it really brought to life the town at the time for us and gave what is arguably a reasonable interpretation of what happened that day. A must see for Tombstone.

I was a member of the Wild Bunch, a group of cowboy actors who staged the Gunfight at the OK Corral, 100 years to the second, in the Corral, on the exact same spot, in front of TV cameras back in October of 1981.
I can't speak to today's "attraction," but the Gunfight IN THE OK CORRAL, during that time was choreographed EXACTLY as it happened using guns, shots-fired, bodies fallen, clothes worn, as the exact event. I cannot speak to any "attraction" anyone has seen that was NOT staged inside the OK Corral, I have no knowledge or experience with any of those.
My sole experience is with two years of stage, screen and television shows eminating from my Wild Bunch days from INSIDE the Corral, only. It was done expertly under the direction of Mr. Ben Traywick, resident historian of Tombstone. I live in Tucson, am in the phonebook for verification. Roger Fulton.

Was great trip. Tombstone is well preserved from the cowboy days. Ok Corral is very well done. Show was great there. Especially nod to the fine acting of man playing Doc Holiday.

For ten dollars you get, admission to OK museum, the Historama movie, free admission to the Tombstone Epitaph newspaper museum, a copy of the newspaper of the day after the OK shootings, and admission to the OK re-enactment. The only downside was the re-enactment. The characters of Doc Holliday, Ike Clanton, and Virgil Earp were very well played, but the others must have been newly hired, because they didn't know their lines well and there were at times lulls in between lines.
