We thought this would be fairly theatrical, but in fact the cast went to some considerable trouble to explain the background to the fight and to relate what actually happened to the Hollywood version. The whole thing was perhaps a little cheesy, but what do you expect in Tombstone! The cast put everything into it, the acting was pretty good, the storyline was explained well and the actual gunfight was terrific.
Go on forget being hyper critical just enjoy the spectacle.

My family and I stayed in Tombstone for 2 days so that we would be able to see everything including all of the different "gunfights." Everything started out pretty badly when we went to "Doc Holliday Theatre," such a waste of time and money. After that, we decided to go to the Birdcage and then have lunch at Big Nose Kate's. Now who would be in this restaurant/saloon other than Big Nose herself with the legendary Doc Holliday. They looked like they were hanging out until some cowboys came in yelling about Doc taking his money and horse then Kate pulls out a gun and chases the boys out. One of them says "I'm coming to get my money at 2oclock at the OK Corral." So after we finished, we headed down that way too. Talk about refreshing, the actors seemed very professional and at times, hilarious. I also enjoyed that this particular show is somewhat narrated. You could tell these guys know their history.

lots of history again and when they came out for the gunfight it was pretty cool - great actors made it look almost real - it was cool that after the show you got to get your picture taken and talk with action. worth going to see

Simply great. A little cheesy but hey, it is a re enactment. They do a good job, and after the show which runs about 25 minutes, the actors wander about town and talk to folks. The admission price of $10 covers not only the gunfight, but also lets you roam around the OK Corral Museum which is fascinating, and a tour of the Tombstone Epitaph and free copy of the paper printed the day of the gunfight, plus entry into the Tombstone's Historama which is a narration by Vincent Price of the complete History of Tombstone, "The Town that wouldn't die"

Very good reenactment of the gunfight. The actors fit the roles very well. The one who played Doc Holliday was superb.
