“Like going back in time!”
Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

Went in January just a little chilly. Felt like we went back in time. People walking streets in the old clothing of the time. Went to the gunfight reinactment at the OK Corral and enjoyed it. You sit under an outdoor cover and in January wasn't that packed. Price wasn't bad about $10 per person includes gunfight documentary pic and print of Old newspaper. Took pictures with actors. Disappointment was that's set items in gift shops were made in foreign countries in bulk. Double check pricing on everything. I would pick up one item and it would be $7.95 and then pick up same item next to it that was exact same and would be a dollar cheaper. Found that case with 3 items I looked at. Took old time pictures. Not a bad price. Had lunch at Big Nose Kate's Saloon. Great food and price. There were some locals who were sitting at the bar that apparently had too much to drink and barely were able to walk out the bar on their own. Kinda ruins it for a family atmosphere especially when it was a Monday at lunch. We also stopped by Boothill Graveyard which is a free attraction on way out of town.

“Helps you understand the Gunfight, but . . .”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Have you ever noticed that it's called "The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" & not "The Gunfight in the O.K. Corral"? That's because the actual gunfight happened on the street at the entrance to the corral. There have been all manner of botched movie versions of the Gunfight, but actually I can't remember any with the Gunfight in the street rather than the Corral itself. I don't want to get into all the fine points of historical accuracy, but this mistake has been persistent & glaring. Anyway, after paying a stiff admission, you can go into the Corral to see figures in their relative positions when the shooting started. You can read placards & the brochure to see how the Gunfight happened, but with so many participants, it takes you way longer to read about it than it took for the Gunfight to happen (somewhere between 30 seconds & a minute). The chronology & relative positions of the participants are well-presented & allow a visitor to understand this event.

A very well done show re visiting possible events leading up to the infamous shoot out. Seen from the eyes of the Clanton's. All the actors give a quality performance for the benefit of the audience. A must see when visiting Tombstone.

“Terrific Reenactment”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This was an amazing place to visit. We stopped for a burger first, which was delicious. Then we went and got tickets to the reenactment of the fight. It was about 3/4 of an hour long and was very enjoyable. From there, we were indoors to the theatre, which was delightful. We walked up and down the streets, taking in the atmosphere with the horses and stagecoaches and actors. The shops were also good. The newspaper was a neat souvenir. There were seveal old buildings that had neat history.
