Being a huge Angels fan, this is my venue of choice. The location is one of the most beautiful with the red rock backdrop, but it's also situated in an industrial park which means a ton of traffic if the game concludes around 5pm when the general public is getting off of work. Regardless the venue is clean and well managed. Enjoy the game.

Very nice stadium in a picturesque setting. Not easy to get autographs from players. The warm-up field is separate from the stadium and the "lower" players take BP out there before the game while the more popular players take BP inside the stadium and fans are not let in during this time unless you have "credentials".
Food here isn't great and it's expensive. Two chicken sandwiches on Ciabatta bread (bland and bland), two fries, two Pepsis and peanuts in the souvenir bucket cost $48.
Much better food at Hohokam!
Overall game experience was good.

We have been to a couple of other ballparks in the Valley area and we wanted to experience a spring game at the Tempe Diablo stadium. We were not disappointed! Our seats were really close to the field which made for an exciting afternoon. In fact the seating there lets the fans get close to the action. The concessions are typical ball park fare with one exception which was Honey Bear Barbecue stand. The food there was great. The park was very clean. We took the advise to arrive early (11:15 AM) and parked on the street close to the stadium. After the game the Tempe police kept the traffic moving which made the trip out of the stadium area very quick. We had a great experience at Tempe Diablo and would go back again.

What a great place to watch the Los Angeles Angels practice and prepare for the baseball season. It is not quite as fan friendly as Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, but it affords some interpersonal experiences with the ball players! A must do for any baseball fan!

Tempe Diablo Stadium, Spring Training home of baseball's Anaheim Angels, is a nice modern park with good views and reasonably priced "ballpark food." One drawback is the single entrance/exit off busy 48th Street - even though I left early, after the 7th inning, I had a bit of a wait to get out onto said street - and I can only imagine the backup a couple innings later when most of the rest of the crowd was leaving. However, it was a nice day at the park, my beloved WORLD SERIES CHAMP SF Giants vs the Angels. The Giants were leading when I left and the outcome didn't really matter this early in the Spring, but it was noteworthy that for the 3rd straight day in games I attended at 3 different ballparks (Scottsdale Stadium & Camelback Ranch being the other 2), the game ended in a tie after 9 innings (no extras in Spring trng.), what are the chances of that, lol?
