I was so happy to find this place with regional food from Hidalgo.
Here you will find barbacoa, mixiotes, quesadillas de huitlacoche and tlacoyos. There are about 15 little tables and room for 60 people. I was there around luch time on a Saturday and it was crowded with Mexican families. There was only one gringo and who knows how he got the courage to be there. If you look from the outside, there is a sign that says: "tacos de cabeza" so, if you are a gringo and are not scared by this, you will enjoy the food here. Everything was tasty, the only thing that I missed were the hand made tortillas.
