“Hidden gem”
Reviewed January 6, 2007

Tucked away in an strip mall (in the northeasternmost corner of the mall), Classic Italian Pizza is a terrific pizzeria. The wood-burning stove results in a delicious crust that is crispy and light, and the homemade sauce and sausage puts pizzas made with canned sauce and mass-produced sausage to shame. The gourmet salad is also delicious, as is the tiramisu. Strong wine and beer list as well.

“Great pizza & antipasta plate”
Reviewed September 8, 2006

This is a great little pizza place. The pizza is thin crust but not too thin. Their dough is flavorful - we didn't leave one end piece!

We also had the antipasta or cheese & salami platter (I don't recall it's exact name on the menu) but it was fabulous. Very nice European cheeses.

This place is right off a stripmall, so it's not easy to find, but the pizza is as good or better than Bianco's and you don't have to wait for 2 hours.
