“Great golf experience....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013

We golfed this in early December. The price was worth it in December. The course was quiet but there was no attention by the starters or any rangers present. The front we completed in 2 hours and the back in almost 3 hrs. We waited alot on the back and it was frustrating. Course was in very good shape and greens were really good. Very good roll on the greens, considering the time of year. I'm sure in their peak season, this Pete Dye track is in alot better shape. Still a good track to play, tough but forgiving but as with the Dye courses, lots of deep bunkers, mounds etc. Found the bunkers to be inconsistent in the amount of sand. I know you shouldn't be there, but some were very hard pan and some were normal. Great track and would definetly come back here.

“Unique and interesting course”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012

Golfed Karsten on December 5th. Service was attentive and friendly. Pace of play was excellent and course conditions were very good. I found the course fairly challenging, and would like to give it another go now that I have been through it once. Cost was very reasonable for the quality of the experience.

“One the toughest courses Phoenix”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

this is a great course. This may be one of the most challenging and exhausting courses in Phoenix. It is possible to hit a 300 yard drive down the center of the fairway and you still have a horrible lie for the second shot. The rolling hills make it a challenge. By the 14th or 15 th hole you will be ready to finish. This is the ome course for the Sun Devils and it may be a key factor why they are consistently a contender. I love this place!

“A Pete Dye Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

I wasn't certain how a golf course in the middle of a University would fair but this one is one everyone should play when in Phoenix. It's a typical Pete Dye layout so expect to see railroad ties and water. The holes are not exceeding long but still offer a chance to use every club in your bag. Holes 9 and 18 are especially challenging with water along each hole. The staff is great, they have a well appointed pro shop and if you want a lesson, Ping has their learning center right next to the course.

This is a very intresting course very diffrent from most of the courses in Phoenix and it is fun to play back nine has stadium style so grip and rip do not have to be real straight just keep it in the mounds
