The acoustics, lighting, seating, and experience beyond words! Go see any of the Broadway Across America presentations.

I have been attending shows here for over 40 years, and I worked here during college. This auditorium is a sentimental favorite because of the memories it invokes when I visit. The building has sound issues but it is beautiful.

This year I have visited Gammage to see a number of plays. I have seen Peter Pan, Anything Goes, Memphis, also Wicked, just to name a few. They were all outstanding!!! Gammage is a wonderful place to see plays because of the way it is laid out. No matter were you sit you can hear and see it all.

if possible see a broadway show at Gammage located at Arizona State University. the shows are generally one production each month. this coming year includes jersey boys, mama mia, lion king. even without a production, gammage is an interesting tour of a building.

Saturday matinee at Grady Gammage Auditorium on the ASU campus was nearly sold out for Broadway Across America's Sister Act, the musical, with the exception of a few back rows in the balcony and first tier. Costuming was interesting and boasted an on-stage change from police officer's uniform to disco star, then back to police officer seamlessly and almost without notice..The stage performance boasted beautiful backdrops and scenery of the convent, and the cast of talented young performers carried the production well. Ta'Rea Campbell played the leading actress and had a magnificent voice as she did when playing Nala in the Lion King on Broadway. Timing of intermission was appropriate and although it was nearly 120 degrees outside the theatre was cool and comfortable. Fun event with friends.
