“Worth it but not a must do.”

It was a great stopping point and unique. It is cool to tell people you have been there. If you have the time then deffinatley. Also, the native americans sell there things and are very well made and inexpensive. It is great to support them.

“Interesting and kind of a must do”

If you are in the four corners area with kids, you have to do the Four Corners Monument. It does cost $3/per person to get in, but it is much nicer than it used to be. Very well laid out and easy to take the obligatory picture. Not much there, but still cool. There are lots of vendors if you want to buy stuff.

“Desolate”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

Dear Lord. What a disappointment. First off....I'm a fan of wide open areas. Puts life in perspective. But the area where Four Corners is located is hot, dry, dusty, desolate, void of life, etc. Second.....the actual monument is cool but they shrouded the whole thing on ALL FOUR SIDES with Native Americans peddling their stuff. Jewelry, fry bread, rugs, etc. It completely cheapens the experience and shows you the real reason it's there. They could do so much more and it is the definition of "tourist trap" along with Wall Drug, Crazy Horse, etc. We will not go back.

“What a disappointment”

We stopped here on our tour through the National Parks of the Southwest. Road work was being done on the dirt road during heavy traffic and you had to pay a $3.00 fee (cash only) to drive in.
This place had the filthiest, dirtiest, most foul rest rooms I have ever seen in my life. No toilet paper and no running water available either. If they are going to call this a national monument a little more pride should be taken in maintaining this facility.

“Geographical attraction ...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

This is one of those rarest places in US where four states meet. These four states are Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. It is around 70 miles from Kayenta. Great feeling to be at the monument, spread your legs and hands across fours states, snap a picture. It was little warmer during Memorial day weekend. There is nothing else around this place so be prepared with extra water and food.
