Never been to this new Thai place yet, don't have many of those here. Another town up the road has one but wanted to try a local place. Entered, very clean have thai décor that is tasteful and a mixture of booths and tables. Had enough business, every table and booth was taken. Good menu but the food pictures looked very generic just a little odd on a menu. However they had good choices on the menu from many categories, apps, soups, noodle dishes, wok and curry dishes. We started with shared appetizers, the Satay Combo which was 2 Chicken, 2 beef, 2 shrimp skewered, chicken and beef were dry but had a good flavor, the shrimp was tasty but all were very tough to remove from the bamboo stick to share.Came with a thai peanut sauce that was like a white cream not much flavor and a liquid cucumber sauce not much flavor either. Also had the combo platter which had 3 Crab Rangoons, 3 Veggie Rolls, 3 Sweet potato, 3 Thai toasts and Mee Krob. All prepared a bit generic but the crab Rangoon was the best flavor. The Mee Krob sauce not much flavor.Would probably not get that again but would go with a shared soup pot. The server brought us the 4 selection of different spices with our meals. Had the Drunken noodles with Duck, had 2 pieces of duck the rest of the duck was the skins mixed in. There was too much onion minimal carrots and peppers. Thought the duck would be a nice treat but would not take the duck again maybe the mixed meat instead.Took the mild level, which was very mild, you can order any level of heat you wish or put in extra spice yourself. The noodle dishes allow you to choose any meat you wish to add in or not. Also had 1 of the Chef's special dishes, had a good amount to choose from on the menu, the Ginger Fantasy had chicken, pork, beef and shrimp with ginger, onion, carrot, mushrooms, and bell peppers in a garlic ginger sauce that was pretty soupy when it arrived, needed a spoon. Good taste. Others had the Hot and Sour soup bowl which was a good size for a bowl, if you order a pot you share it. There were other better choices in the soup category. Also tried Fish to Ocean that had 2 boneless pieces of fish. One is steamed, the other is deep fried. Had sauce on both and again was a bit soupy on the plate, this plate got all the carrots. Good taste. Another had Vegetable Delight from the Wok menu. Good fresh veggies but they were drowning in the soupy sauce, however good taste. They have cute dishware to make the presentation nice. The gentleman server was very polite and courteous, slowed up a bit, we had a hard time understanding him at times, other times he seemed lost. The lady server we noticed was super. Greeted with smiles and goodbyes with smiles. Glad to have them in Surprise, average rating leaving room for improvement or upgrade vote come next visit, will try again but probably choose something different.
