I have eaten here several times and always find it is charming. During the week when there is no band, you can get in easily. They have a small menu but everything on it is tasty and very good. I especially like the salad. The prices are cheap. The atmosphere is quaint but the chairs are uncomfortable for a large person. They also have outdoor seating.
On the weekend or when there is entertainment, it is very hard to get in unless you come early. They open up both big garage doors on each side of the restaurant and you have an outdoor feeling place at night. The crowds pack it and it is very enjoyable to be entertained. I believe all the entertainers are volunteers so the tip jar is important to them.
This is a good place to meet my grey haired retired friends.
