Nice facility. All Cactus League parks (save one or two) highly resemble each other. Roomy fan friendly sites. Reasonable tickets. Unfortunately, major leagues prices on concessions.

The entire staff & volunteers were the friendliest I have ever encountered. The stadium was absolutely beautiful, I can't wait for next Spring to go back!!!!!

We visited Surprise Stadium for one Spring Training game. It had a great vibe. Fans were into it, and it was easy to walk around. Parking was free, and lawn seats were only $7 (we did not spend any time on the lawn, instead walking around the whole game). Good interactive video screen and lots of giveaways for fans. Food was pricey. Our trip to AZ was really improved by us having attended a game here.

Just took in an early evening spring training game between the Giants and the Texas Rangers. Game started at 6:05 which was very nice considering it was 84 degrees here today. We went early to the complex as has been our normal on spring training games. There has been a lot of reviews both here and on Yelp which complained about the parking and long walks to get to the complex although the parking was free. Turns out there are two main parking area. A small one is close to the complex but fills up early as more than half is reserved for disabled parking. This one is best accessed from W.Bell Rd by turning on to Park View Pl and then left onto Paradise Ln. It allows you to enter from the Left Field gate. The parking people complain about is across the street and is accessed from N. Bullard Ave. This one runs from West to East and stretches off into a dirt area. It's narrow and you may have to walk a distance to get back to the stadium if you come late to the game.
The stadium is quite nice and will cared for. The restrooms were spacious and clean. The staff of volunteers were helpful and didn't seem overly "offensive" . We ate the foot long grilled hot dogs which were tasty. Could have used more condiments as restricted to ketchup, mustard and relish. This cost $6 and for $5 you could get fries or onion rings and a soft drink. However they must have been running short of fries as they did not fill the plate with many of them although they were quite tasty. They had a lot of give aways but mostly in the seats by the home teams side and nothing much to write about in terms of value in the prizes. (T shirts by a commercial outfit which we never heard about? Didn't even mention the Rangers) .
There was a bunch of little gnats flying around at the start of the game but were gone by the second inning or so. All in all, the game was very nice and especially as the weather was ideal for an early evening game. It is a little hard to get too as you have to drive about 10 miles of city streets to get there as there is no close by freeway so you need to plan on 20 minutes of street driving after turning off from the 101.
Would have no trouble recommending this place to others to see a baseball game especially as our favorite Giants won. .

Home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. One of the newer stadiums in Arizona.
Very comfortable. Food is average. You can bring in food in clear plastic bags. All in all it is a really fun place to be.
