I have always stayed in beach resorts at Goa so when a friend suggested Grace Villa to me, I was not very sure in the beginning. Would it be fun? We reached Goa pretty late at night, tired and sleepy. We couldn’t make out much of the exterior at night, but the moment we entered the villa, we felt welcome- it was such warm and cozy feeling. The villa has been done up very well, and reminds you of a sea side cottage in some European city. The beds are comfortable and there is an abundance supply of clean linen. We also noticed that the kitchen looks pretty functional. Next morning, we explored the surroundings- a very serene Goan neighborhood with beautiful, old Portuguese villas. Grace Villa also is engulfed in greenery, there is a very cozy patio at the back which is perfect for chilling out with friends. However, since it is a residential area, we were told not to make too much noise.
This place is very close to Calangute beach. If you have bike or a car, you could also explore some other local beaches around. I would recommend this place for a family holiday.
Tucked in a serene Goan residential area, this bungalow is perfect if you want to soak in to the Goan flavours of life! Not far away from some of the beautiful beaches, jostling flea markets of Goa, this place offers you a beautiful blend of a laid back holiday and busy party filled fun times. Get up to the chirping of birds, go for nice long walk through the narrow lanes meandering through the the Portuguese villas, and then head to the beaches nearby for your share of Sun and Sand.
The bungalow has been done up very artistically and is extremely comfortable. You have a fully functional kitchen which allows you to stir up a nice little Goan lunch or dinner if you are up to it! We specially liked the cozy little balcony in the first floor- a perfect place to wind up a busy day with some local Goan wine.
While you are there, don't forget to try out a quaint restaurant - Cantare- just a stone's throw away from the bungalow. The food is awesome and the live music sessions will make your evenings great.
I would definitely go there once again.
This very beautiful and serene Villa is perfectly located amidst quiet residential area, yet being very close to all the happening beaches and Restaurants in North Goa.
The Villa is perfectly equipped to give one a complete feeling of being at home while on a holiday.
Loved my stay at this Graceful Villa.
I have been visiting Goa since 1992, but the visit to Villa Saligoa in February of this year was something totally unique and different. This place is nicely tucked away in North Goa and just 3Kms from the world famous Calangute beach. The Villa has very spacious bedrooms (with A/C's in all) and the sit out on the 1st floor is something to be experienced. The patio is a great place to unwind, especially in the evenings with a drink of your choice and with music filtering in from the living room, its a great feeling for sure. The Villa has a friendly neighborhood too. All in a all, a lovely villa to be with your close friends and family. I would be going back there very soon for certain.
The stay this time around was very comfortable, the space is well furnished and tastefully decorated.. definitely recommended..
"Grace" villa was a perfect home stay for our family of 6. Spacious, tastefully furnished and equipped with all essentials. Conveniently located with popular beaches within 5 km radius. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful with friendly faces. Cafe, restaurants and supplies at walking distance. The house has a charming Gazebo and a balcony, perfect sit out on a Goan rainy day.
Near the villa is a school for children with special needs run by nuns staying in the school premises, so avoid playing loud music at night.
Very beautiful villa with all required amenities. Close enough to center of the city yet far from the madding crowd. Had a wonderful time there. The highlights were the balcony view on the 1st floor and the patio in the back of the Villa. The cook had made delicious food. Was very close to Cantare, an amazing pub. Would love to stay here again.
