Description: The Cafe is CLOSED FOR SUMMER BREAK from 19 JUNE - 2 JULY 2017. We will see you on July 3 for Lunch! Our offerings include something interesting for everyone. The A.P.E Burger is Adam's signature dish. No two are alike. Trust him to create something special, just for you! We select our wines and beer to complement our food. Our house wines focus on local wineries. We offer US and imported wines. Our beers are flavorful and interesting, sourced locally to Arizona, the US, and imported. We also feature special beer and wines to share amazing finds with our guests. Adam Puckle is a bona fide local. He was born at Fort Huachuca in 1987. He went to school at Elgin Elementary, and graduated from Patagonia Union High School in 2005. He attended NAU with a focus in HRM, then decided to further focus on food and attended Pima College's Culinary program. He started A.P.E. Dining to do dinner events in 2009, and added The Cafe operations in 2010. Chef Adam's natural sense for food provides guests with approachable, comfortable, appetizing offerings designed to provide a tasty and price-valued dining experience. He selects his staff to have an innate gift for supporting an enjoyable guest experience.

We were wanting to find lunch after we did a wine tasting and BOY were we pleasantly surprised with how nice this place was. It was not only delicious but the prices of the VERY GOOD meals were reasonable. We had two entrees and a dessert for $25! I mean, REALLY! We were very happy with that. The happy hour times were right after lunch. The servers were very polite. The appearance of the restaurant was quite charming. We were very glad to wonder upon this place!

Great burgers. Large juicy and tasty! Good salads. Only complaint there was no outdoor seating and a staff member started to give us a hard time about bringing in our service dog stating "No dogs allowed even service dogs" Then a manager came by and told her it was ok.

While driving to Tucson from Tombstone, we were starving & just happened to stop for lunch at The Café in Sonoita. We had not done any research on this particular area as we took a different route than planned from Tombstone. Nor had we gotten any recommendations from anyone as we were just passing thru. We didn't even realize that we were in Wine Country! The outside of the place doesn't look like much, so we were truly surprised to find this caliber of dining in "the middle of nowhere". I had their green chili cheeseburger & potato salad and my husband had their chicken club sandwich with fries. Excellent food. Their beer & wine selection is also great. Service was very good. I'd recommend it and plan to research this area a bit more & make sure to allow more time here the next time we're in Arizona.

Limited in selection, Sonoita would appear to have little to offer. However, that is not the case: The Cafe makes any trip through worth the time. We took advantage of a nice selection of happy hour items with all priced very nicely. Fried zucchini, SW quesadilla, and $2 drafts hit the spot!

we stopped by a few vineyards and got the same recommendation for "the cafe" at every one of them. The service was attentive and food served promptly. Very good sandwich and burger restaurant.
