Description: The Cafe is CLOSED FOR SUMMER BREAK from 19 JUNE - 2 JULY 2017. We will see you on July 3 for Lunch! Our offerings include something interesting for everyone. The A.P.E Burger is Adam's signature dish. No two are alike. Trust him to create something special, just for you! We select our wines and beer to complement our food. Our house wines focus on local wineries. We offer US and imported wines. Our beers are flavorful and interesting, sourced locally to Arizona, the US, and imported. We also feature special beer and wines to share amazing finds with our guests. Adam Puckle is a bona fide local. He was born at Fort Huachuca in 1987. He went to school at Elgin Elementary, and graduated from Patagonia Union High School in 2005. He attended NAU with a focus in HRM, then decided to further focus on food and attended Pima College's Culinary program. He started A.P.E. Dining to do dinner events in 2009, and added The Cafe operations in 2010. Chef Adam's natural sense for food provides guests with approachable, comfortable, appetizing offerings designed to provide a tasty and price-valued dining experience. He selects his staff to have an innate gift for supporting an enjoyable guest experience.

looks can be deceiving. The food here is top notch but they are only open for lunch. I had a wonderful burger and soup. The serving sizes are enormous but I did see people ordering dessert and that looked darn good too. They serve beer and wine.

We've eaten here several times; this place is a pleasant surprise in the Sonoita grasslands. It's small & usually (too) crowded with both tourists & locals, which is a recommendation in itself. We've enjoyed our main entrees (from burgers to salads & pasta) but have so far always been disappointed in the "sides." The fries are SO not-special... the potato salad looks & tastes as tho it comes from a plastic carton. This has always surprised us in a restaurant with otherwise decent, interesting food. Service is usually good, tho they're understaffed during peak times so that we've had to ask several times for more tea, dressing & so on. Atmosphere is not elegant, but certainly pleasing. Prices are high, consistent with everything else in this area. All in all, definitely worth a visit... tho some extra care by the management & chef would make it even better.

We dined at The Cafe for dinner in Januay as part of our Anniversary weekend celebration. We had the Kickin Chicken & the chicken-pasta special of the night & both were excellent - bold flavor combinations & great attention to detail. We look forward to going back again when we are in the area.
