Description: The Cafe is CLOSED FOR SUMMER BREAK from 19 JUNE - 2 JULY 2017. We will see you on July 3 for Lunch! Our offerings include something interesting for everyone. The A.P.E Burger is Adam's signature dish. No two are alike. Trust him to create something special, just for you! We select our wines and beer to complement our food. Our house wines focus on local wineries. We offer US and imported wines. Our beers are flavorful and interesting, sourced locally to Arizona, the US, and imported. We also feature special beer and wines to share amazing finds with our guests. Adam Puckle is a bona fide local. He was born at Fort Huachuca in 1987. He went to school at Elgin Elementary, and graduated from Patagonia Union High School in 2005. He attended NAU with a focus in HRM, then decided to further focus on food and attended Pima College's Culinary program. He started A.P.E. Dining to do dinner events in 2009, and added The Cafe operations in 2010. Chef Adam's natural sense for food provides guests with approachable, comfortable, appetizing offerings designed to provide a tasty and price-valued dining experience. He selects his staff to have an innate gift for supporting an enjoyable guest experience.

When fortune finds you in the middle of nowhere -- the approximate location of Sonoita -- one of the last things you can reasonably expect is a great place to have lunch. Surprise!

This spot features fresh food, well-prepared and charmingly served. On a splendid Spring day, we were invited to dine on the patio. A great idea, because our dog could leave the confines of the car and join us. The specials -- a sandwich, a burger, and tacos -- each had unique elements and all tasted fine. A bottle of local wine was a fine embellishment.

I would not go out of my way to drive to Sonoita just for this restaurant. But it is a fine complement to a drive through the Santa Ritas that I will be sure to make more often now that I know the Sonoita Cafe can be a stop along the way.

Been here for lunch several times and never disappointed. All the staff are friendly and the food is creative. Lunch specials are a real treat with fresh interesting choices. Great relatively new addition to resturant scene

The food was tasty but NO heat in the building and very slow service. We have been home 3 hours and I am still not warm. Should have left the restaurant right away when we saw people eating with coats, hats, and scarves on. Service was poor - entered the restaurant at noon and didn't leave until almost 1:30, Believe me, we would have left sooner if we could have had timely service!

It's nice to have a lunch place with reliable hours in Sonoita! The fare is pretty standard: burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas. A very nice place to visit pre-or post-wine tasting.

Stopping for a late lunch after a wine tasting adventure, we were immediately greeted with a smile and seated at any table we wanted. Menus and drink orders were taken by a friendly young man. We asked for the turkey pesto sandwich and coconut chicken soup.
What a pleasant lunch ..... the soup was a perfect blend of flavors .... with a hint of coconut .... not over powering.... just right.... with chicken and veggies.
The Turkey pesto sandwich was again, excellent...... a unique blend of turkey, thinly sliced cucumber, crisp lettuce, tomato and Chef Adam's homemade pesto.
Service was professional, friendly, informative, prompt and well timed ( we were not asked if we wanted more drinks right after taking a bite of our sandwiches ).
Clean, a touch funky, a blend of music playing in the background ( not blasting ) with great service and excellent choices on the menu..... one Cafe you will leave with a smile.
