Another Mom and Pop Mexican in small Arizona town but what a surprise. The atmosphere is typical, and the family hussles the tables, so don't expect professional, at your beck and call, service; but once you get your meal, the extra minute or two will not matter. The first clue will be the aromas coming from the "open to public view" kitchen. Nothing but prepared-from-scratch recipes starting with the salsas are served. I had the outstanding Steak Picado and my wife opted for the Green Corn Tamales and Chile Rellenos. The report from the Arizona native was that they were the best she had ever been served. Don't eat too much as you'll need room for the home made flaun.
