“Great family area”

Grayton Beach State Park

This was a great area to take the family. Not too crowded lots of open beach and it didn't feel looked down upon for having kids that wanted to play in the sand. Very clean and a great state park by any standard

This was our second visit to Grayton Beach State park. This time we decided to try the short hiking trail and were so glad we did! The tree-covered area was so interesting to walk through and we enjoyed learning more about the native trees and flowers. Next time we plan to hike the 9 mile trail!

The boardwalk to the beach is very nice and easy for people using scooters or walkers to access the beach.

We stayed with another couple in the cabins. We were not spending much time in the park because there was a music festival going on in the area. The cabins were very clean, modern and well laid out. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen worked very well. The screened porch was great to hang out and dine on. Basically it was a great value. Reserve at the first possible moment (11 months before your need) as they book up very quickly.

Grayton Beach is a special place and that carries over to the State Park. We camped here for a few days and fell in love. the staff is great - friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and work, ane the beach and trails are pristine. Can't wait to go back.

Just a taste of what the 30-A Gulf coast used to look like. Huge white sand dunes and no condos!

An easy bike ride from Seaside or anywhere nearby on 30-A.

Definitely worth it to get away from the umbrella farms on either side!
