“Loved it!”

What a great location - right in the middle of the downtown area of Sedona. Park your car and then explore the town by foot! Nothing better than being able to walk to/from an evening out! Big comfortable beds in a wonderful room. We had two rooms facing the street but didn't notice any street noise. The grounds behind the hotel are nice to explore - make sure you walk all the way to the creek. Beautiful outdoor pool. The free breakfast was one of the best - a large selection. Would definately stay here again!

I labored long and hard to find a hotel in Sedona that met our needs: Adequate space for 7 people and proximity to the heart of Sedona were key considerations. I am not a fan of Best Westerns because they are so inconsistent, but every search kept coming back to this hotel. Feeling like I was rolling the dice, I booked it and was not disappointed. Our two-story villa had two bedrooms and 2.5 baths and was comfortable for our family of 7. The decor was interesting: It was evident that the villa had been remodeled recently because of the granite, tile, and color scheme, and the remodeled touches were nice. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were on the large side. he property is defintely older, however, and this was evident inspite of the upgrades in things like dark, dated cabinets and doors and somewhat dark interior spaces. Here's what we liked and disliked about this property:
PROS:
- Location location location: Great spot right at the end of a nice stretch of shops and restaurants-- close enough to be convenient but far enough from the center to be quiet and relaxing
- Spacious rooms & comfy beds
- Hotel guests in villas get access to clubhouse (though desk staff there not particularly enthusiastic about this-- still a nice touch)
- Price was reasonable given the number of people in our party (cheaper than the 2-3 hotel rooms we would have needed elsewhere)
- Free hot breakfast was excellent and breakfast room was nice.
- Friendly staff at front desk of hotel
CONS:
- Villas are located at the foot of a VERY steep hill-- an exhausting climb and a real challenge for anyone with mobility issues. My father walks with a cane and had to be driven to the top of the hill-- way too steep for him. Pushing a stroller or wheelchair up this incline would be a nightmare.
- Rooms were dark
- Had to walk up steep hill to get to breakfast room (not an issue for the able bodied, but may be challenging for some)

Overall, we'd definitely stay here again.

Terrific location in Uptown Sedona...ample parking and easy walk to town. Get an upper level room with a view and enjoy the sunrise over the red rocks from your private balcony.

We had the cottage (which the is only one of) size was not bad but it is in a very odd location. you have to go past the hotel make make a rt then make another rt onto a dirt road. It literally took us 20 mins to find it and that was with going back to the hotel and asking directions a second time.We were offered the villa ,which we looked at, and turned right around and said no thank you. It was dark and dingy and smelled old. We checked out after one day and went the the Hyatt across the street, got a nice room, paid$150 less per nite for 3 nites( because we listened to the timeshare offer) which was a savings of $450. Worth EVERY penny.

We stayed at the creekside villas for 3 nights in october with a family of 5. We choose the uptown Sedona because it looks like the most scenic place to stay on our first visit to Sedona. The uptown Sedona was more crowded that we expected but if you don't want to use your car this is a very good place to stay. Walking to the Cowboy grill in the evening was very nice. But if your're looking for that amacing view from the room that takes your breath away you have to choose places like : the Enchantment resort in Boynton canyon or the Canyon Villa bed and breakfast. But we liked the Arroyo Roble because the villas vere spacious and the location is very good if you just like walking to the restaurants. The things we diden't like so much was the small breakfast room that were overcrowded and was a bit to much "plastic" like and we felt like we were on Mc Donnalds. And no lounge or bar to sit and relax in the evening.

We stayed on a trip to Arizona and stopped in Sedona for a few nights. We stayed at the Best Western and it was wonderful. Our room had a amazing view of the mountains. The pool is shared with the villas, but was easy to get to and not too crowded. The location was near plenty of shopping and resurants. Overall it was a great hotel for a decent price.

We stayed in the Villas that were situated down by the creek. The villas are spacious and updated. The grass, trees, and sound of water rushing down the creek outside of our villa was delightful. Set down a hill below street level surrounded by trees made these rooms cooler than most of the other hotels. Housekeeping was excellent. Complementary breakfast was more than adequate. Definitely recommend this place.
