“Beautiful view of Bell Rock”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We had a room on the second floor with a lovely view of Bell Rock and surrounding red rocks. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was adequate...and eaten outside on the second floor balcony. I love this town and the red rock area!

Everyone loves Sedona. I am glad you loved it too.

We are glad you enjoyed staying with us and enjoyed the view of Bell rock as well.

We need to work harder as we would like to earn the score of 5 out of 5 next time.

Please give us a call and let us know what can we do to make that happen.

Will you please allow us to accommodate you again on your next visit.

Thank you

Let me say it now...my room was far from perfect. There were issues, that despite a very recent change of hands and soft opening, should have been found prior to my visit.

That being said, would I go back? Yes, I would...but because of the very helpful, determined staff. They single-handedly got the room fixed to my satisfaction, and with an impressive, can-do attitude.

Kudos go out to Dan and Sara Beth for excellent service beyond the call of duty...great job.

Room Tip: Book a room with in-room spa tub, otherwise you're out of luck. No spa, no pool...but a fairly n...

We spent 19 days travelling in the beautiful SW and by far received the best and most sincere attention from a young lady- Raylina. Any inquiry I had she gave me her undivided attention and answered the subject thoroughly. The clincher was how selflessly she handled my laundry issue when the washing machine stopped after the clothes were soaked. She moved my clothes to another machine/ dried/ AND retuned them to my room folded. When approached to pay her for the service she flatly refused any remuneration. Raylina, your kind of attitude and commitment to your job help make travelling a pleasure! Roger- you have a GREAT employee- take good care of her. See you next year.

Room Tip: Every room has beautiful views/ quiet/ away from hustle & bustle/ gas fireplace in room

Can NOT beat the second floor view. Yes it is "pricey" for a two star stay but folks it is in Sedona!! So for the view and area you can't find a better price.
RayLynn checked us in and she was knowable about the area and demonstrated a genuine thank you for choosing wildflower.
Close to all of Sedona, very clean rooms , four pillows to a bed , working fire place and yes again the views.
The downside. NO hot tub and NO pool .. You can use sister hotels but who would really do that?
NO coffee til 7 am ... Really if you are getting up early for sunrise no coffee for you. But the circle K is right across you can purchase plenty of coffee with the $ you saved.
Diabetics for your coffee pleasure make sure to carry your own "yellow stuff" ( Splenda ) only the pink here ... Gross on pink stuff! But like I said grab a coffee at the circle K they always have Splenda and go explore Sedona.
We will be back !

Thank you for your wonderful comments. Our staff was very excited when they heard your comments.

Everyone loves the views form the hotel.

even if you reserve a non-view room or a partial view room, the views can be seen from our Viewing deck.

We do have coffeemakers with coffee in rooms for the early risers. Splenda can be obtained at the desk.

Prices do depend on arrival date, number of people, type of room and length of stay. The lowest prices are with non-view rooms and in off-season with as slow as $69. Checkout our specials on our website www dot sedonawildflowerinn dot com.

We look forward to accommodating you again soon.

Thanks

Just got back from 1st trip to Sedona and we could not be any happier with the Wildflower Inn! the Views from the 2nd floor rooms (and most the 1st) were amazing! Loved having coffee on balcony terrace in mornings watching sunrise over red rocks...rooms were clean and cozy, ours even had a fireplace. Do not be scared by low prices, this place is worth far more!, So close to everything we wanted to see and do, great cafe across street too, Blue Moo

Room Tip: second story for best veiws.

I can’t thank you enough for your comments. Thanks for noticing that we provide a great Value for your dollar. We share all our comments with our staff. When we shred your comments with our staff, they were all delighted and wanted me to pass a big “Thank you:” to you.
It’s comments from people like you make our staff even harder to provide the finest service.
Thank you for your comments about Amazing views and our viewing deck. Blue Moon Café across the street is certainly very convenient to walk to without having to drive anywhere.
Please come and stay with us again and please recommend us to your friends and family too.
BIG THANK YOU from entire staff.

My wife and I arrived on Thursday, 9/19 around 12:30p. We wanted to check in, freshen up and then go to lunch. We were totally taken back by the young girl who informed us that check-in was at 3p but for $25 we could have the room right then. We left, found a place to eat and I called the Wildflower posing as a potential customer for the following week. I inquired about price and check-in. The same girl in the office told me check-in was at 3, but if we arrived around 1p, she would be working and would check us in. WOW!
We returned around 2:30 and did check in. The room was not the greatest. My wife went to turn on the faucet (ball type that controls both hot and cold) and the ball came right off in her hand. Bath towels were thin with threads hanging off the ends, but the beds were comfortable and we did get a good sleep.
The next morning my wife did tell the manager when he inquired about our stay. He apologized, and said the girl was incorrect. He claimed the $25 fee was for someone checking in at 10a.
I would not go back to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to others.

Thank you for staying with us and Thank you for your comments about comfortable beds and good sleep.
We apologize for the Faucet handle and towels. We fixed it right away as soon as we discovered next day. If the head housekeepr had noticed the faucet Handle during her inspection, it would have been repaired prior to your arrival. Sorry, it broke down during your stay.Next time, please inform us right away from the room as we take care of any issues right away. This time, please accept our apology.

Our check in time is 11Am and sometimes Guests request extended stay and depending on our Occupancy for the day, we extend the checkout to 12 noon at no charge. And our check-in time is 3PM. This gives us just 3-4 hours to turn the rooms around for next stay. For that reason, we discourage early check in. Instead, we offer the baggage storage service and offer you powder room and complimentary coffee and assist you with maps and local exploration ideas. And, as a courtesy, we permit up to 2 hours earlier check-in if we have the room ready.
With that the cleaning time cuts down even more. We are known for cleanliness. we prefer for a guest to chek-in on time and allow us to do great cleaning work. Any earlier check in than 1Pm becomes undue burden on the hotel and we do charge $25 early check-in fee.

A very reasonable priced boutique small Hotel (28 rooms) with Awesome views willing to offer up to an hour for a late checkout and up to 2 hours early check-in at no charge and offer free baggage storage service is certainly a very cooperative and traveler friendly hotel. Hope you understand and agree with me. (Of course the policies are different at high priced hotels like Marriott and hotels with hundreds of rooms with a lot of flexibility where they can afford to do free late checkouts and free early check-ins.)
We request to please not rate our hotel lower just because you dint like our early check-in policy. They did check you in earlier than 3PM as soon as you returned, as we always do.
We ask that you come and stay with us again and enjoy our friendly staff, fresh Waffles and Awesome Views. Look forward to seeing you again.

Thank you
