“Excellent hotel, and so guest friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2011

Just home from a 10 day stay in Sedona. We chose the Hampton Inn after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and can only add to the praise this hotel rightly deserves. It is in an ideal location a short drive from Uptown Sedona. It is a very quiet hotel and the staff are all without exception the friendliest we have ever encountered. All at the front desk were extremely helpful at all times, and nothing was too much trouble...Dave even helped with our car problems and Julia is a treasure....Neomy in charge of breakfast is an absolute delight and a credit to Hampton Inns.
The room was spacious and had a very large and useful fridge, a microwave and a large 3ft/3ft dining table and 2 comfortable dining chairs .The room was kept immaculately clean.
Free internet throught the hotel plus use of the hotels own computer in the lobby is a great bonus.
The breakfast is much more than adequate. It was excellent.Always a choice of several hot dishes(including:- on different days... omlettes/sausage patties/scrambled egg/bagles with melted cheese and bacon. Make your own very large waffles available every day and choice of cereals/fresh fruit/pastries /muffins and bagels with cheese, fruit juices/coffees/hotchocolate .Lots of bread to toast yourself too.If you were running late , then bags of food were placed on the front desk for you to grab and go.
Coffee was available at all times in the front lobby too if you didn't want to make it yourself in your room and on some evenings lovely fresh baked cookies were provided ....what more could anyone ask for? There is also a small gym as well as the pool and hot-tub.The maintainance man even brought his own bathroom scales in for us to weight our suitcases before our flight home....how good is that? This hotel is rated 4* but it gets 5* from us and a big thank you for a great stay, we will be returning.

Very well kept up hotel, with recent remodeling in the guest rooms. Comfortable beds, tasty breakfast, and a good location that is convenient to most of the town. I would definitely stay here again.

Just got back from beautiful Sedona! This is my 3rd trip there, Hampton Inn was a good choice. Located right in front of Coffee Pot Rock - rooms were spacious and pool and hot tub seemed in good repair. Breakfast choices changed daily and was plentiful and delicious. Fresh fruit daily was a nice touch. I would recommend it !!

Room Tip: I liked the 2nd floor - ez access to back parking

We were a walk in so received a great deal. (A Best Western that was full called for us. Best Western people were great - they realized it was late and we did not want to spend a lot of money but still wanted clean accommodations) The staff was extremely nice, sociable and helpful!! Entrances were great - easy luggage retrieval even for the 2nd floor. Breakfast was good and included in the price as well as coffee and tea all day and night. Lobby was nice. Room was clean and good for the $$$ paid. It is not a new hotel but as a picky, clean person, I found that the rooms were still good. Not brand new but not dingy NOR desperate for renovations. Not far from main street in Sedona with the tourist shops. Glad to have saved the money and stayed here rather than a resort/spa/or a hotel chain with more upscale accomodations and prices.

I only arrived for a short trip, however the staff made it as pleasant and warm as i could have hoped for. Not only were they helpful and friendly they made an extra effort at the expense of their own personal time. Nice breakfasts as well! Had some delightful ambiance. The location is within walking distance of many interesting shops and restaurants too. Thoroughly recommended.

I am beyond impressed with the folks at the Hampton Inn. The 'extras' included are many, free breakfast, bagged lunches, coffee all day, the rooms are clean, the beds incredibly comfortable .. and the people are absolutely precious. I have never had such an amazing hotel stay. Thank-you so much!

We have stayed here a few times and location is great - away from all the tourists and near to good resauarnts ( walkable )
It needs a huge facelift - very tatty rooms in drab colours and such noisy AC
Its expensive for what it is - the most expensive 2 nights on our whole 17 night tour of the area staying in some top resorts also we paid $189 a night mid week
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful
The room wasn't cleaned well - no bath mat, extra cups etc for the 2nd night and the surfaces hadn't been wiped in the room
Hampton needs to sort it out

Room Tip: over look the pool not carpark
