The Andante Inn of Sedona

This was really a hidden gem - I have no idea why they got bad reviews! The rooms were very comfortable and our room had a marvellous view of the Red Rock Mountains. The breakfast was excellent and very substantial and the service at the front desk was also very good and the manager was incredibly helpful as were Marty & Roberta and the wonderful gentleman who checked us in at night ( who name escapes me) . This is in a convenient location and we would definitely go back to stay - since most of Sedona closes early it would be great if they had microwaves in the room or else have one for each floor

It may not be the best property in Sedona, but it’s a lot of Sedona character to it. The ambience & the rooms are good. And you wouldn’t mind crashing in the comfy beds after a day of exploring the red rocks. Soak in the bubbles in the bathtub of the bathroom and get ready for another day with the nice but limited fare in the breakfast. Carry your own mini-bar contents and enjoy the stay. Totally worth the money...

This place is way over priced for what it is. It smelt bad, it looked bad, it was worn in, the comfortable had holes in it, the place was so below average, and i cant believe they charge over 100 bucks a night with tax, it was horrific, pay an extra 50 bucks and book something normal. This place was horrible, id rather eat my finger nails than their gross breakfast. Id rather sleep in the car than stay at this dump of a hotel.

We were here with an Elderhostel group for five nights. The rooms were nothing fancy but clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had group meals in the adjacent restaurant and they were well prepared and tasty.

We arrived in Sedona extremely tired with no reservations, anywhere. Began calling and Anthony was so welcoming on the phone, we decided to try the Super 8. Anthony presented the property as if it were a Ritz Carlton and our stay for the evening and morning were wonderful. Every question and request was met with a warm response. The hotel was better than we had expected and the rest of the staff was also friendly. Recommend the Super 8. We moved on to a B&B which was our originaly intention, but would have been comfortable to remain.

Just returned from wonderful Sedona where we spent 4 nights in Super 8 motel. The check-in was fast and flawless and we got a room in the separate building on the second floor, with the view of the red rocks. You could also see the reception bulding as well (I also posted two photos). It was snowing in Sedona, something you can not see that often (as we were told), so the view was great. We got the king size room (as requested) and it is nothing fancy you should expect - you get a bed, TV, small fridge, table with two chairs etc. But, everything was clean. The room service cleans the rooms daily, you can see the cleaning lady in the hall htourghtout the day in case you need something or if you want your room to be cleaned at tcertain time. They are all very pleased to serve you. I found that Sedonians, in general, are just very wonderful people.
The breakfast could be improved. It is a nice dining area, but the food lacks the variety. There are muffins, toast, eggs, cereals, peanut butter and jelly, as well as some small sausage burgers (that you warm up in the microwave, so that looked a bit creapy to me). You can serve yourself coffee throughout the day.
The motel also has a small swimming pool (which was closed due to the winter time), but it does look like a nice refreshment after a day of hiking.
Overall, we were very pleased and can easily reccomend this place. It is close to the historic distric, it is affordable. You are not ment to hang out in the motel, you are ment to go and enjoy the beauty of Sedona.
Oh, yes, forgot to add that High Speed internet worked great too.

On our recent two week trip through Southern Cal.,Arizona & Nevada we took a day trip from Flagstaff to Sedona the area is so beautifull that we decided to spend a night there. We dialed in Super 8 and the good old GPS took us to their location and we found the motel to be very nice with good views of the spectacular scenery . The staff were very helpful and explained that the rug replacement that was going on would be only done during the daytime to reduce noise to a minimum and it certainly wasn't a problem to us. This location is very conveniently located along the main road and will give you a very nice reasonably priced place to stay in Sedona. My wife and I are in our early seventies and always find Super 8 locations fill our needs on driving vacations . Pick up a Super 8 location book and use the toll free number to book ahead, get yourself a portable GPS that you can use in your car or a rental car like we did and hit that road.
