Hotel is nice. Staff is friendly. But...breakfast is mediocre at best and housekeeping is almost an afterthought. Each day we have had to go to front desk to find out when room will be done. Two days in a row no housekeeping done until after 4 PM. Ridiculous.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view.

Hello dear gvallow!
First of all, thank you for your review, your opinion is very important to us.
I am so sorry to hear that our housekeeping service was less than impressive. I will make sure to share your feedback with our whole housekeeping team. I am glad that overall you found our "hotel nice" and our "staff friendly". I hope you will stay with us again, and give us an opportunity to provide you with the best customer service possible in every aspect.

This property is well maintained and you get a lot of bang for your buck! Everyone was friendly and so helpful. Use the concierge service. Jackie set up a wonderful tour of the Grand Canyon. Philip at the front desk suggested excellent restaurants. The breakfast was more like a full breakfast than continental.

Room tip: All rooms have excellent views, don't spend more for the King Trail room.

Thank you for your review Honpun7715!
It is so nice to hear that you received great service from Jackie and Philip! They are truly our hotel's guest service champions and we are so lucky to have them.
And thank you so very much for mentioning our hot breakfast, our breakfast crew works very hard to be able to provide our guests with a great morning experience!
We are looking forward to your next visit!

My husband and I stayed three nights at the Arabella Hotel to begin our two-week SW trip. We were very happy with the room and the breakfast. We did find that the breakfast buffet served over the weekend was not as ample as the one served during the week (no fresh fruit/limited pastries). You have the choice of sitting in the comfortable breakfast room (large windows look out on beautiful mountain view) or the patio which overlooks the pool area. Room was comfortable. Staff at desk were friendly and helpful. Staff in breakfast room were especially friendly and very attentive to guests' needs. Bikes are available for guests' use. I would stay at the Arabella again.

Room tip: Ask to stay on the second floor - room with views.

Stayed for 2 nites - Julia at the front desk gave us a warm helpful greeting. Room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was perfect for our needs and had a great view of the mountain. Nice seating area and pool. Definitely recommend!

Hello travelmom2238!
We are so grateful for your five bubble review! I always share all our guest feedback with the whole staff, and your positive comments mean so much to all of us.
Indeed our property has the best views of the Red Rocks in Sedona, and we always try to find new ways of creating a unique guest experience, such us a private hiking trail, complimentary street bicycles, multiple fire pits and live music on the weekends. Hopefully, you can come back and visit us again very soon.

The Arabella Hotel Sedona is located on Highway 179, the main drag through Sedona, located within close walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops, and things to do.

The rooms are just basic rooms; they offer jet tubs, but with the two rooms in our party, neither tub worked. The air conditioning unit clicks loudly in the night, which constantly woke me up during the two nights we were there. The rooms are clean, and the hotel was quiet at night; there is a large chess set and coffee in their lobby area, with a TV and couches to relax on. The hike they refer to on the property is basically nothing but about 300 steps, so consider hiking Bell Rock or other popular hikes in Sedona.

Close to Tlaquepaque, (pronounced ta la ka pa key), a very popular tourist shopping center, the location is what you pay for. The hotel has free wi-fi, a private patio, refrigerators in the rooms, and flat screen tv's. Plenty of parking, also. Small dogs and cats are allowed for a fee.

Dear emdicker,

Thank you so much for your many kind words.

Our hotel was built many moons ago and each winter we undergo rooms renovations to address the issues you have highlighted.

We look forward to your next visit in beautiful Sedona and our newly remodeled rooms next spring.
