“Star location”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

We loved this resort. Located in its own mini Grand Canyon, the scenery from every angle was stunning.

The rooms are adequate - not super luxurious but spacious, well laid out and great value for money compared with some other places we stayed on the same trip.

F&B was 4 star rather than 5 but perfectly adequate.

The real star was the canyon we were in, and the endless opportunities to hike and mountain bike.

And the spa was really 5 star. Great gym, healthy food option at the spa for the health-conscious.

I'd return in a flash. And is outdoor action in a stunning vista is your thing, go there!

Room Tip: All the rooms seem to have great views.

This beautiful resort nestled in the spectacular red rocks of Boyton Canyon, just out side Sedona is definitely my favorite resort/spa. The hotel rooms are individual casitas that are built to blend in with the natural beauty of the canyon. No matter how many guests may be at the resort at any e time one always has a sense of peace, serenity and privacy. The casitas feel very spacious, each one with a private porch and a lovely vista. Orange juice in a bucket of ice is delivered every morning to each casita's door. There are activites for all ages and interests. Of course the star attraction (besides the natural surroundings) is the Mi Amo spa. As this was our second visit, I found the treatments to be just as wonderful as our last visit. The hot stone massage was the best I have EVER had!! From talking to other guests in the spa(one always inquires about the treatments one has had) it seems all the treatments and all the personnel ares fantastic!!
I will also add here that there beauty product lines are really wonderful.
I am always grateful for the reviews I read on TripAdvisor so I certainly want to "give back" to point some other traveler in a great direction. If one is looing for superior accomodations, outstanding service, wonderful cuisine, activities for all ages in a beautiful environment The Enchantment Resort merits your patronage! We will certainly be returning!!

Room Tip: All the casitas are lovely. If anyone in your party has mobility issues, please inform the hotel whe...

We stayed in the one bedroom casita with two double beds. There was also a bed that pulled down in the living room. There was nothing that we didn't like about the accommodations. It had two bathrooms and the kitchen was the perfect size for us. We were brought fresh orange juice each morning. The back patio had a grill and a beautiful view of the red rocks and deer in the evening. There was also Keurig coffee machines in the room. I never wanted to leave the property. We played tennis and went to the spa. Both were excellent facilities. I would recommend the calming facial. We had breakfast and dinner at one of the restaurants. The food was amazing. The only negative aspect of our stay was that service at the restaurant could have been better. The servers were very friendly but seemed overwhelmed at times. The view from the restaurants and the pool were perfect. I want to go back tomorrow!!

Room Tip: We were traveling with 2 kids (ages 10 and 11). The one bedroom casita with the two beds was perfec...

Stayed four nights in a two bedroom casita on our way to the Grand Canyon. The room was nicely appointed and had a dining/kitchen. There are a ton of activities throughout the day to choose from that appeal to adults and kids. We did the wine tasting, nature walk, bike tours, painting class and fitness. The food at the restaurants was good and the views were amazing. The grounds are beautiful with several hiking and biking trails. Our family loved the stay and will definately come back.

Staff friendly and attentive, room plenty spacious with spectacular views, truly a unique location in the world in a beautiful red rock canyon. Second to none. Plenty of hiking trails attached to property. Deer 10 feet away upon arrival. Even had a magnificent monsoon thunderstorm allowing us to watch waterfalls down the red mountain walls as we enjoyed dinner in a room surrounded by full length windows. And spa out of this world. Also gives access to seven canyons golf

This was our second time @ Enchantment and it was just as good. Love everything about this wonderful resort. Its everything you could want, or not want in a vacation. If you want activities, Enchantment has just about everything. We, on the other hand wanted nothing. We wanted to do nothing, see nothing, just relax, unwind, swim, eat at sleep for a few days. We got exactly what we came for. You wont be disappointed. See you next year Enchantment!

I can honestly say that I have never visited a more friendly city. Every single person, both on and off property, that I encountered made my day better. The resort was comfortable as expected and any issues were addressed quickly.

Our family of six adults had a full hacienda. We were near the tennis court and clubhouse - not ideal for us, but we made it work. We had a fabulous view and frequently ended our evenings on one of our 3 patios with a glass of wine, reflection, and great conversation.

Since we used this as our launch pad for exploration of the area, I have little to say about the resort activities. My parents received a nice birthday acknowledgement of chocolate covered strawberries on the day of arrival, the orange juice each morning was a welcome respite, and unlike some of the reviews that I have read here, housekeeping was timely and complete. I loved the olive oil based bath soap - should have grabbed a few of those. The bed was exceptionally comfortable - I did not wake until my alarm. This trip came on the heals of a trip to Shanghai China, so the restful night sleep was a welcome.

We did not visit any of the resort restaurants, instead having dinner in town - which again, I did not find a difficult travel, unlike reported in some of the reviews. We did make a point of returning to the resort before pitch dark though - lighting might be a driving issue.

Memories Made:
- catching up with family on the patio each evening.
- grilling hot dogs and fresh fish on the patio.
- listening to the chatter of kids in the pool and on the tennis court
- watching the deer graze on someone else's lawn (besides our own in NC)
- laughing about the gate guard who greeted us suspiciously every time we returned to the property
- having a custom made cocktail at the pool bar by the "new" bartender who was great
- on the patio listening to the the live Saturday night entertainment - was that karaoke, LOL?
- scoring a parking space in front of our hacienda

Special thanks to Nick for his attentiveness, the "new" bartender at the pool bar for an interesting cocktail, and the fitness desk attendant for letting me in a little early to do my workout.
